If you have your Bibles open with me. If you will. Isaiah 26:3. We're going to talk about the peace of God today. The peace of God. Do you have it? Do you know where to get it? Have you been looking for it on eBay? Amazon's got not going to ship it to you. It doesn't come that way. The peace of God comes by us. Trusting, first and foremost in Jesus Christ as our Lord and as our savior, that's the most important thing. The most important gift. I think that any one of us could have is knowing Christ as our Lord. And as our savior, if you don't know him today, by the time you leave here today, you'll know how to, you know, what you need to do. And all you have to do is say yes to Jesus and then once you say yes to Jesus. Now the the battle begins to strive to live for him because the things of the world are going to come at you to keep you from living for Jesus and doing the things that God would have you to do. And Isaiah 26:3 says, you will keep him in. Perfect. Peace. Whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts, And you. He's not just talking about peace here. He's talking about perfect. Peace. He will keep you in. Perfect. Peace. Whose mind is stayed on you. What is your mind stayed on today? What's going through your head? What's going on in your head? And what is important to you? Why do you trusting? What are you following? What are you doing in order to be what God wants you to be? Will you trust Jesus Christ to save you? Your sins are then forgiven Norm? Just sing a song told the whole story. There. Are we thankful for what Christ has done for us, but we thankful that he gave his life that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. That's more than just a head knowledge. That's more than just knowing about it. That's having a relationship with Jesus Christ. And the more we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, their greater that peace will grow in our hearts and in our lives. I want to go back to that. Perfect. Peace, though. We can have peace and we can have perfect peace. Which would you prefer? Peace or perfect. Peace? Have you ever bought a car? That was a lemon? I mean you looked at and you bought it, so you thought maybe it was good, right? You looked at it it look good. Everything. Okay. Hey, that's that. That car is going to get us where we need to go. And that car may give you peace for a little bit of time. Until the lemon starts to work its way out, right. And you realize that car was not perfect, that car is nuts. What way it was presented to be maybe You have a piece and knowing that when you get in your vehicle, you can go vote from point A to point B, Lori and I wants many years ago about a brand new car. We bought a brand new car once in our life ever. Since then. I've always bought cars with a few miles on them just because they're cheaper today really doesn't matter. You buy a used car. You're going to pay a premium for used car today and in fact People called me here a while back that bought my car. I sold my truck to me wanted to buy my truck back. They give me 120% of what I paid for my truck. That's a good deal hundred 20% until you go and look and see what an another truck cost. Right through those prices went up to it. We got one here for exactly. You do, you're in the business, not to lose money. You're in the business to make money in my business doesn't give you my money, right? That's how that works. In order to get something. You got to give well, in order for us to get this piece. There's nothing that you and I have to give, we have to receive because Jesus Christ already gave it. He gave it when he lay down his life on that, cross for you and for me, he gave it. When he stretched out his arms and said it is finished. He shed his blood that whosoever will. May come in Colossians, chapter 2 and verse 13. He says this and you being dead in your trespasses and then the uncircumcision of your flash. He is made a life together with him having forgiven all your trespasses. He's forgiven all of your trespasses. Have you ever trespassed? Have you ever done something that, you know, you shouldn't have gone against somebody else? Or I guess. God. How do you feel in the moment? Well, if you don't care if you have no feelings. Oh don't worry about other people. No more o that doesn't really matter to you. I was thinking this morning when I was typing this all up, finalized, when I can read. I can't read my own handwriting but I type it up. I can read a little better if I can type correctly. I already noticed in my notes. There's misspelled words in that, but here's how I type a right pretty fast with those two fingers. So you don't want to mess with me. I'll get you. Every now and then I can use the phone, but that's usually for the spacebar.

When we began to trespass, I, I remember the time when I was a kid growing up in Liberal Kansas. My father was a pastor in Kansas for 3 years. And I don't remember the whole aspect of what was going on. Hang out with some friends. I was probably 78 years old at the time and she's back in the day when a what the kids outside and didn't really worry too much about him. You went and did your thing. And you came home whenever suppertime, and, as long as you're alive, they were happy right now. You left your kids outside. You got to be worried the whole nine yards the whole time because you don't know what's going on. However, Myself and another friend, we're going out in it and there was a lot of vacant houses around where we live in and it was pretty neat. These houses had no windows and had no doors. That's how they can't. They were is pretty neat because we can walk through these old houses. They can houses in this, look them over. We didn't do any damage. We just walk through and just check them out. If for some reason, this one day, I remember walking into this one house. With my friend. It has a screen door on it. And as we enter the house, I realized somebody lives here. It's not a vacant house. I got in the middle of the house and realize I'm not supposed to be here. Wright had no idea whose house it was. I couldn't even tell you. But I remember my friend, I going through and he's looking at all the stuff they left behind and we did get out of the house. Nobody knew we were there. As far as I know. Other than God. But you know, how guilty I felt because I knew as a 78 year old child, that I had trespassed on somebody else's property in somebody else's house. They may have never known. They may not even have an idea. But I knew that I had done something wrong. Bigger thing of that in my life, as if you knew the way I was raised. We were raised with some corporal punishment in our household. I was not afraid of my father, but I feared him. Reverently feared him. I knew that I could go home all the time. I knew that no matter what happened. The door was always open, but I also knew that when I got home, if I missed out up out in the world, he heard about it. I still have to pay the price. Sometimes, I get a spanking and sometimes I get a talking to. I didn't like either one, but I'd rather get to talking to than just making sometimes. Sometimes I was talking to hurt worse than the spanking. But I know I did wrong. I thought I was going to have to answer to my father if he ever found out. What am I going to say? Can I blame it on the other kid? Did I blame it on the other person? I was with, and sometimes we do that, right? Well, it, so until he Adam and Eve did that in the very beginning of that devil. You know, he's the one that beguile does but what did God tell them? Have all of it? All of this is yours. Just leave one tree alone. And the rest of the blessing is there that perfect pieces out there for you. But if you want something, you got to find peace over here, you going to find out that that piece that you get over here is not the peace that God has. Or we can have peace in life for a moment. We live in a society today where there's heartaches and hard to have trials and tribulations things are going on in people's lives today. That that piece is a little tough sometimes to have that piece of got. But what is he tells him and John 14:27? My peace. I give you. You says peace. I leave with you. My peace. I give to you not as the world gives give I unto the you let not your heart, be troubled. Neither Let It Be Afraid. What God wants to do is give us, not just peace, but he wants to give us at perfect peace, which is his peace, his face. The ladies went last night to watch a movie.

And when my wife came home. She brought me a piece of pie. Banana cream. She told me I was here at the church when she got home, but she they pulled up here. It's got in her car. So hey, I got a piece of banana cream pie for you.

Right. Because you know what banana cream pie does. It brings me. Peace. A piece of pie brings me. Peace. I sat down. I ate the whole thing. Somebody asked me this morning. How was your banana cream pie? Pretty good. Pretty good. Now, as I think about it that pieces or Waning, you know, why? Because it's been a creampie is not tasted in my mouth anymore as it was last night. A simple thing that can maybe bring us. Peace has nothing. Nothing compared to the Peace of heart. The peace of mind that God will have for us. My peace, I leave with you my peace. I give you not as the world gives. Give I unto you and he said we were dead in our trespasses. In our says we we were uncircumcised of the flashing in the old days in the old days movie. We seeing the Jews being circumcised to prove their faith. Well, that's one of those steps that you would take it and there's no return from God says to you and to me today that we need to circumcise our hearts. And once we circumcise our heart, once our heart is cut with God, as God would have a soup. There's no turning back. There's no doubt as to what we've done. We've made that commitment to him and that's what God wants and that's where that true peace comes from. When we put our faith in our trust, in Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul says, I know whom I have believed. He did say I I think I know you said I know whom I have believed and then persuaded, he's able to keep that which I've committed unto him. I guess that day. If you hear this morning, you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, if he is your lord, if he is your savior, there's no doubt about it. Then if you circumcise your heart for Him, it's a relationship, not just a connection. It's a relationship that he wants us to have that relationship. We mess up. Do we not? I mess up that relationship on Mayan Gods in this, never messed up. Jesus Christ in his never mess up, my end gets messed up. Why? Because the things of the world, sometimes overcome has the same things in the world, get our eyes off of the things of God and all the things of the world and we began to stumble. And We Begin to Fall. Here's what we need to know. What does peace of God? He will never call you? And the judgment. He will never call you into judgment for our sins, always says in John, 5:24 most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes in him who has sent me, has everlasting life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from Death unto life. What does that mean? When I accepted Christ, as my Lord and Savior, all my sins. From that day, when I asked him to forgive me, when I asked him to cleanse me all my sins from that. They were washed away, wipe clean. Made clean through the blood of Jesus Christ. Why does snow? The Bible says? But from that day forward, I now have to keep account. I have to understand that my life needs to be pleasing unto God. And, yes, we go through life. We do the things that God has called us do. What? We don't always think about what we're doing until afterwards. Go off. I shouldn't be here. I just trespassed I just did something. I shouldn't have done. What's going to happen while I'm so thankful that we know that we can confess our sins. He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Amen. He does that. But if we're confessing our sins knowing full, well, we're just going to commit him again. Tomorrow. I'm just trying to get through the day with a clean. Slate doesn't work that way. God knows our hearts, he knows whether we're serious or whether or not? Yes, Lord. I, I got these things in my life. I need to get rid of. I want to remove them circumcision, remove them from my heart, from my life, and strive to serve you as best as I can. That's what he has for us. That's what he has for you. That's what he has for me. That's where we need to be to be what God has called us to be Romans 8:1. He said there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit? How are you walking today? What's important in your life? Who are you walking? According to the things of the world, or the things of God, there is therefore no condemnation to those. Who are in Christ Jesus, I'm thankful for that. Here's what. I know one of these days each and everyone of us Believers and non-believers will be called to stand before God each and every one of us will give account of ourselves before. God our lives in our actions. I encourage you to keep a short list. All the wrongs in your life, confessing the goddamn and you make a mistake confess it right there. Don't wait because, you know, who's lurking to use that against you? The devil, you know, who else is working due to use that against you? Someone else that wants to tear you down and destroy you. The biggest one that wants to tear us down, and destroy the south side of the devil's usually ourselves. Why? Because we're not willing to give these things to God. Therefore, we don't have this piece. We don't have this perfect peace. That God wants us to have. You may also enjoy the peace of God in your heart and in your mind as you pray. What did he say back in or text this morning? You will, you will keep him in. Perfect. Peace. Whose mind is stayed. On. You is your mind stayed on him? Is your mind stayed on the things of God, or your mind on the things of the world? Yes, we live in this world. Yes, his world takes her mind sometimes, but we got to stop and say, whoa, that's taking me down the wrong path. Lord guide me. Direct me. Give me your peace. Give me your hopes reality reality is before each and everyone of us. Here's what I know. I know that it says in Scripture, it is appointed unto man wants to die. And after that, the judgment. We all will die someday. Whether it's a spiritual death, or whether the physical death, we die. If I die physically on this Earth, okay? Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My spiritual death was when I accepted Christ as my Lord, take the old things, pass away, All Things become new. And now I have to walk. I have to talk. I have to live for Lord. It is seeking that perfect piece. What is it in your life that you're seeking that? You think if I just get to this level or get to this point? I have that perfect piece. I have everything that I need to have. God will bless me. I'll be right where I need to be. Maybe that next level of job. Until you get there and you find out. Okay. More people hate you now because you're now up to hide her will hire. Maybe it's that new house until it starts falling apart and find out what's going to cost more money to fix. Maybe is that perfect car. You got that turned out to be the lemon. Those things happen. That's reality. Scripture says it rains on the just and the unjust alike just because I'm a Child of God, does not mean I will not have any trials. That doesn't mean I won't have any troubles, doesn't mean I won't have any heartaches. They're going to be there. What I do have is somebody I can turn to to help me to reach out a hand and lift me up. All the Meijer and all the clay set my feet on Solid Rock. I have that piece. Not just any piece. But I got God's peace. My peace. I leave with you. Let not your heart be troubled. Neither Let It Be Afraid. Look what he says in Philippians chapter 4. Verse 6 & 7, be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and guard your minds through Christ. Jesus. The piece of the world supposed to round us, but the peace of God will guard our hearts and guard our minds when our hearts and our minds are not guarded. Everything begin to creep in? Does it not the things of the world? Begin to bothers. I look around, I listen to the news. I see what's going on and I might my immediate prayers Lord help us. Cuz my hope my joy and my peace does not come from those who are governing us. My hope, my joy and my peace comes from Jesus Christ, the greatest governor of all the King of Kings, Lord, of lords, the one who freely lay down his life. For you, and for me. Be anxious for nothing. But in everything by prayer. Everything by supplication, let your requests be made known unto God. With Thanksgiving. What does that mean? Thank him for those requests that you were giving him. That will not be answered as well as those requesting. You're giving him. That will be answered. Thank you, Lord, for answering these request according to your will not mine.

How would your life be different today?

If you knew that everything you did was in the will of God. Was God's Direction? What would be spoiled rotten when we, if we know that everything we were doing was what? God wanted. We we, we were perfect.

Put my glasses on so I can see a little better. Look around. You see any perfect people here today? I see somebody wearing a 49ers sweatshirt. Does not so perfect.

Better. The Cowboys sweatshirt.

Does that bother you? That's right. We got to have this. We got to have winners and losers in this world, right? Right. So, I'm a winner. You're the loser. It's not how we try to make ourselves feel better. By the way. I can be the Biggest Loser of all. Right.

Look at the people that Jesus called and workin minister with him for three years, Peter.

Others were out doing their thing and getting in trouble and coming back and he knew all about it. We can't hide it from him. But when we give it to him, when we asked Him to guide us and directors and we follow his leadership than his peas. And not just any piece. That's perfect. Peace begins to Phyllis. I don't know about you, but I like peace, but I want this perfect. Peace. I want the peace of God in my heart and in my life there, a lot of people who think they have it. They lot of people who think all that. I've got it. You know, God, God's going to take care of me. I'll listen. God wants to take care of you and he's already provided a way to take care of us through his son, Jesus Christ, but if we don't put our faith in our trust in him, if we don't say yes to him, that doesn't do us any good. Having a head knowledge without a relationship. Knowledge doesn't help. The devil fears. The devil knows and trembles because he knows the power of God. I do a lot of funerals. A lot of people that I have no clue who they are. Nothing about, I get a phone call. They don't have a minister. So I get a phone call. Would you do this?

So, I do, when I share with them, not with the deceased, it's too late for the deceased. I go when I share with the family. Hope what's the hope that we have? I don't know and I don't say this out loud, but I don't know where the disease is. I have no clue. If I don't know them. I have no idea why they believe are they not a Believer? I don't know. We can only hope that somewhere along in life that they said, yes to Jesus. But if you went and asked her family many times, and I don't know, I don't think they were. So here's what I'm saying to each and every one of you here this morning, if you know, Christ as your lord and as your savior and let your family know, let them to leave no doubt about it. Well, they said, they were but their life, what would then? Something's got to change her? It's not our lives. That says, it's believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ. But once we believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ, in order to have this perfect, peace, things are going to change. The old has passed away. The new has come and when that new comes, we start walking differently. We start acting differently, not to get saved this, cuz we're already saved us, because we are the King's kids.

Our loved ones pass away. We have things around their house, may be that they have left us are given to us or Reminders of them in our house. We have a quilt up on the wall. In our house, a quilt that my mother made those of you who may not know my mother passed away when I was 13. So that's a reminder to me of my mom and all that. She has may be done with her hands and the working, remember seeing her her sitting in her chair and, and humming and doing the needlework. Above that bothers, a picture of my mom and my dad, and my siblings of myself. I'm probably 45 years old in the picture. Standing in front of the church in Dalhart, Texas, one of the Church of my father, passed it up on the steps and this picture black and white picture all there. And I got on a pair of blue jeans and I don't remember this. I look at the picture. Here's one of his, I'm wearing some jeans and they're roll up the right there. That big of a cough. I'm the youngest in the family. My clothes were hand-me-downs for my brother who was probably got hand-me-down from someone else. He was taller than I thought he would get taller. He would outgrow those. I'm wearing those jeans. If I wore those today, I get laughed at while I don't know. Maybe not. I see people wearing them that way these days. My dad sees a jeans with a hole where you look like a bomb now people pay you fifty bucks for those things.

Or more, right? It's not what we look like. And that's not a memory that I would remember. I don't remember that picture being taken, but I know it was because there's a snapshot of it. Wrong Brothers, church, Milan. Like we roll Elaine jal's. We're like, what you doing right now. Just kidding.

Why was that whether those memories that we had those things that get handed down that bring peace and that piece is good, but it's not the piece of perfect peace that God has for you. And for me. What is our text say? You will keep him in. Perfect. Peace. Whose mind is stayed. On you, fix your mind on. Jesus, fix your mind on him. Not the things around, you not about your finances, not about your health, not about anything else, fix your mind, doesn't mean, we don't need to be concerned about those were there, but I understand, the one who is in control of all things is God himself. Yes, we need to be aware. What somebody between Services? We were talking about all these different groups that are out there and, you know, the climate control in all this. Yes. I believe we have a responsibility to take care of this world that God has given us. But if I think that I can make it rain, or not rain. I can't you know, who can. God, if I think I can calm the Seas or or make them boisterous. I can't. You know, who can God. He's in charge. He created this universe, who created you? He created me. So yes, we need to take care of what he has given us. And if we don't, yes, we had to pay the price. The things that are going on around us are affecting is why. Because we as people have not sought the perfect. Peace. All we've thought personal. Peace, all this will make me happy or if I do this, life will be grand. Until we get that or do this, we find out. It's not what we thought and that peace comes for a little while, then it passes away. But the peace of God last forever that perfect piece. Philippians 4:8 through verse 96, finally, brother, whatever things are true. Whatever things are noble, whatever things are. Just whatever things are pure, whatever things are, lovely, whatever things are, but good report. If there's any virtue, if there was anything praiseworthy, think on these things, meditate on these things. Look at the world. We live in today. What is it that the world we live in today? What is it? That you are meditating upon? All we know we need to meditate on the true things. Do noble things, that just things. Did the pure things, the lovely things we know that, but what is it that were meditating on? Were meditating on how maybe somebody else did something to us or help me if somebody said something to listen for meditating on the wrong things. Because it's taking us in the wrong direction. As a nation is taking us in the wrong direction. As a people meditate on, the things of God. Think on the things of God, his goodness, his mercy and his love. I'm not saying walk around with your heads in the clouds, not knowing what's going on. Yes, we need to be aware of what's going on. But even in the mess, that our country is in the mess with this world is in, God is still in control and I don't about you that gives me peace more than a piece of the world. It's his piece and it's a perfect beast. And yes, I get away from that perfect. Peace, and I begin to meditate on the things of the world and I get downtrodden, I get worried. What what is this? What is that?

But my God. My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory.

How about your god? What would your Gods pluck? He doesn't say, he will supply all my wants. That's obvious. I don't have everything I want. But I got more than I need. You know how? I know I got more than I need, because I got a jump room downstairs in my house. That's packed full of stuff that I don't need, and I may use. Who knows when, but I can't get rid of it, cuz I'm on, when I get rid of, it was going to happen. I'm going to need it. As long as I got there, I don't need it.

Okay, every now and then, you know what I'm saying? My wife won't let me build a garage. You know why?

What happens when you? We got a three car garage out back here, you know what's in it? A van and a bunch of junk. Where did all that junk come from?

Well, you need to get rid of. So yeah, but I might need that.

You know I'm saying. Why do we not have that? Same desire? For the things that God has. God. I I want more than that and I need more of this and maybe I am filling up this room with with all the things that you have. I'm setting my mind on you so I can trust you more each and every day. I have the perfect piece that you want me to have.

He says if there's anything praiseworthy, if there's any virtue meditate on these things. The things he says what you've learned and receiving heard and saw and meet these do and the God of Peace will be with you. I shared a story this this morning Lori and I had bought one new car in our life back when we were both in college. He was working full-time. I was working full time. We working both working in hospitals, different hospitals, 3 to 11 shift. I had Wednesdays and Thursdays off during my week. That was my days off, which was great going to college, because it gave you the middle of the week to do some study and get some things done. But this one day she she did an extra shift. She was pregnant with Lacey at the time. Probably about 5-6 months pregnant 7 months pregnant. About seven months pregnant, little more. I take her to work and after I drop her off at work at 2:30, I'm going golfing. So I got this brand new car and we already pray, we knew that God was going to direct us that summer into a Ministry in church somewhere and we pray for God, somehow to help us get out of this carpet. I mean as long as we both had a full-time job, it was good, but we knew that churches didn't always pay that well. Back, we went to the church in Kansas and for the both of us working full-time in the church in Kansas back in 1983. We got $250 a week the two of us. Which is why we lived, we had extra, we could do extra stuff. We didn't have all that junk that I don't need.

So I'm going golfing this before, we went to the mystery. We're still working College end of the end of the year and going golfing. I'm making a left hand. Turn on a two-lane road traffic. Coming back up. It's there. I'm looking, I'm on top of the hill and I looked behind me. Here comes a tractor trailer cattle truck behind me. And he's down. I'm on top of the hill. He's down on. Say he's going off of fast. And I look traffic, still coming. I can't turn left and I look again and he's creeping up closer. I'm still thinking while he's going fast. He's just trying to top the hill. Get up here with me. I looked again. Traffic was still coming. I looked in the rearview mirror and I'm going to, he's going to hit me about that time. I popped the clutch and step on the gas. He hit me, push me forward. And then to the ditch. Are brand new car? Right. Broke the seat on, hold on to see what I'm looking up at the ceiling. The ceiling was blue and I'm thinking I'm going through the clouds.

Holding on the steering wheel looking up, then I realize, okay. This car is a Mercury Bobcat. You know, the Mercury Bobcat is It's a little one step up from a Ford Pinto. And a Ford Pinto when they got rear-ended, what would happen to him? That explode. I'm thinking all this is going through my head Mercury, Bobcat, Ford Pinto explosion, run. I opened the door and I took off running. I ran up into the field about 150 yards and the tractor-trailer driver got out. Comes up with me. What's going on you? All right? Yeah, I think so. As I said, the tractor-trailer had cattle in it. Okay. Cattle emit some stuff. That was all over my car. I don't know how many cows got killed in that tractor. I'm sure some had two from the force of the brakes and bring push forward. The next thing, the guy says to me once he found out I was okay my toe hurts from pushing on that break.

Set your affection on things above. Okay, God. I could punch him. Cuz you're all amped up at that. If you don't. You ready to go? I could punch him or I could just let it slide. Tony my car our car he goes over and picks up that round Chrome piece that goes over the round headlights pops it back on the front of his truck. No damage.

Now, I got to deal with the insurance. Have you ever dealt with insurance before? They test your faith. I won't tell you what the company was. But what I will tell you is. Took me a little bit to get what I wanted for my car, and I had to end up getting a lawyer to get what I wanted. Raymond more, would I get tell you his name? I could tell you all about him and polyester suit dog hair all over it. When I went to visit him, my friend at work told me. Yeah, you need to go see him doesn't look like much when I get things done. Raymond Moore. What I mean, he would wear. Black socks is what? My friend told me. He's wearing black. Socks. Have a hole in. You take off a Sharpie. Need color in the skin.

So you couldn't tell it had a hole in it.

I'm laughing. I'm thinking he's joking. I see this guy says it's this is for Real. So Lori 7 months, pregnant. We have to go to the insurance company with this guy. He's called him. He said he was going to do, I'm going to get you. What you want, anything we get about that. We're going to have split 50-50. I just need x amount of dollars, $4,500 what I wanted for my car, pay it off and get me in the car of light value. Where I was not get me ahead of the game, not to get me behind the game, but Equal one out. The noise done work that way. Usually, right by has a 50%.

I just want 4500 bucks, Raymond. He called me later that day. I asked him for $20,000 or something like that. We're not going to get it the next day. He calls us. Could you? And your wife Coming meet me at, my office will go to the insurance company. So many men as we pull up and there's just an old station wagon 1983 and we're talking on Old station wagon. Probably a 60s style with a couple of German Shepherds and barking. My wife. So, look at that car. And I'm laughing. Wait till you see Raymond. I didn't say that out loud.

But we walked into his office. The medium is okay. Well, let's go. Or can we go in your car? We bought a $600 car at that point in time. 73 Plymouth Fury. Man, you can sleep in that thing. So we get in the front seat, my wife in the middle of Raymond. Right next to her, dog hair all over. His suit smell like cigarettes. He smoked these little cigars cigarettes, cigars on his walls, his walls in his office where nicotine-stained right? He was, he was a character. We walk into the insurance company. Here's what he says, first thing out of his mouth. Where is Jesse James? So, I don't know, the guy's last name, but the insurance agent. Where is Jesse James? Whomever? And you look at the people when he walked in you just song go. They've dealt with them before. We went the back room sign. The papers walk down there with a check in my hand, my $4,500, plus, whatever else he got for us. I think we end up getting $7,000. What am I plan? We got $7,000. Had to split that extra with him, over the 4,500, go to the bank, go to the bank. The bank wouldn't cash, a check because I didn't have an account. and, More. My backpack wouldn't do it either cuz I didn't have that much money in my bank. So Raymond picked out of his pocket, some numbers and gave it to him. Probably his bank account. Oh, yes, sir. Will cash, that no problem. Tatum his part, my wife. I went home with our part.

God took care of some things, not necessarily the way I wanted. But what I'm saying is when you trust God. He'll see you through. He'll see you through. It will put you in perfect. Peace. Whose mind is stayed on him. What your mind stayed on today? What's on your thought? Where is your mind? Doesn't mean everything's going to go your way. Doesn't mean everything's not going to go your way. But it means, when you put your trust in God, he will guide my peace. I leave with you. Not the world's peace. God wants to give you his peace. Have you accepted it? Have you said, yes to him. Are you trusting him to guide you to direct you? Let's pray, father. We thank you for this day that you've given us. We ask that you watch over us. You provide for you, take care of the needs in our lives that need to be taken care of. Father, you know, those here today that are having health issues, you know, those here today having Financial issues and even those who may be having some marital issues. We leave that into your hand. We seek your peace. Not the world's peace. We seek your wisdom. Not the world's wisdom. We see your direction. Not the world's Direction. And when we seek you. You give us at peace, peace, that passes all understanding. I pray father that today that he should everyone here has the peace of God, the peace of God that comes Straight from you Guide us and direct us in Jesus name, we pray.
