The Helmet of Sozo
Sozo= Saved, delivered, healed, prospered, made whole, able to receive all the blessings of Jesus
The role your mind plays in receiving these benefits.
Healing
2 Kings 5:11 “But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’”
2 Chronicles 7:14 “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Matthew 13:15 “For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’”
Deliverance
Prosperity-
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
To be made whole
Shalom- Nothing missing…nothing broken
Peace
Ephesians 2:14 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,”
Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”
2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Faith versus the mind
The mind isn’t shut out in order to have faith!
The mind is focused to have faith!
Mark 8:33 “But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan!
For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.””
Peter couldn’t trust in God’s plan because his mind was on worldly things.
The more our minds are on worldly things the harder it will be to see what God is doing and to join him there!
2 Corinthians 8:12 “For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.”
Your mind must do several things in order for faith to come forth.
Take any thought that is not of God captive!
Renew your mind by focusing on the Word of God!
Allow your emotions to be centered on God’s love for you.
Make your mind submit to God.
Fear of the Lord
Choose to receive whatever benefit you are needing.
Thank God both before and after your miracle and remove any expectations of what God “must” do for you.
If you don’t recieve what you need when you want it....repeat this process until you do or until you know God’s plan is something different.
Faith is having your mind FUll of God!
