INTRODUCTION
We’ve had a wild ride last year, 2021, didn’t we?
Let me just put it this way… We started 2021 out in bad shape – There was rebellion, pride, witchcraft, and disobedience going on.  There was also gossip, slander, and backbiting.
Listen – all that had to be dealt with.  A few people had to be sat down and some removed from the church.
Yet I’m so excited to say that what God has done, over the year, in us.  We finished extremely strong and we’re starting 2022 out on firm, solid, Holy ground.  Because we have done the hard things to be obedient to the Will and Word and Spirit of God.
I can feel Father God smiling on us – today
NOW HIS BLESSINGS ARE ON US IN 2022
Give Glory to God!!
<Prayer>
First Half Like I said – the being in of the year was really bad – Correction had to be made – I just didn’t know what to do until the end of April.  Some of you may remember that service where the Hand of God was so heavy on me… In a nutshell, the Holy Spirit was speaking Jer 26:13 to me.
If you will – please turn there with me. Jeremiah 26:13
Jeremiah 26:13 CSB
So now, correct your ways and deeds, and obey the Lord your God so that he might relent concerning the disaster he had pronounced against you.
– OOOF!! God was saying ‘correct your ways and deed [Victory Biker Church] and obey my voice so that I may relent concerning the disaster.’
Ya see – if I hadn’t done what The Holy Spirit had directly told me to do – I would have been disobedient – Let me just say this – We would not be here right now.
It was an evil time that had to be corrected…  I’m reminded of what the Apostle Paul tells us in Eph 6:13 Ephesians 6:13
Ephesians 6:13 CSB
For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.
Listen, ‘having prepared everything’ includes obedience. o·be·di·ence| əˈbēdēəns, ōˈbēdēəns |  compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another’s authority
Obedience can be broken down further like this – Repentance and CorrectionRepentance
Now, there is a lot of scripture that I want to cover here about repentance because it is very important – so please stick with me.   Repentance all starts with humbling ourselves… repentance is not sorrow for getting caught.  It’s a change of heart that leads to a change in behavior.
Please turn to Matt 23:12
Matthew 23:12 TPT
Remember this: If you have a lofty opinion of yourself and seek to be honored, you will be humbled. But if you have a modest opinion of yourself and choose to humble yourself, you will be honored.”
2 Corinthians 7:10 TPT
God designed us to feel remorse over sin in order to produce repentance that leads to victory. This leaves us with no regrets. But the sorrow of the world works death.
Repentance leads to Victory?
Repentance is vitally important, church!!
AMEN? Ephesians 4:32
Ephesians 4:32 CSB
And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
I’m so thankful that this is what we are now – Kind, Compassionate, and forgiving toward one another!! Mark 11:25
Mark 11:25 CSB
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.”
1 John 1:9 CSB
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Victory Biker Church – Because we chose to repent and obey early in the year – we are now prepared, ready and have mature in Christ.  God is now pouring out His blessings on us in 2022.
Q:  Can you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit?
Ya see we had to correct ourselves – before we wrecked ourselves!  God will not bless a mess!!
AMEN or Oh Me?
‘forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are before.”  (Phil 3:13).  We must now person to fulfill the Vision God has give us and the reason why we are here.
Second Half

Have this years officers & assistance standup
Since we took a brief look at the beginning of 2021.   Let’s look at the way we finished the year.  I’m so thankfully excited to say – the second half of the year has been awesome!!!!!  We’ve stabilized and are growing again.  As we are now stewarding things well.
We’re now stewarding:
God’s people – that’s the reason for our new software and app
God’s building and property – we’re making headway to care for this place
God’s finances – again that’s what our new software does for us but it’s more than computer programs.  It’s planning for the future, it’s saving and it’s sowing into other ministries and churches.
We’re not an island unit ourselves – we are a part of the Body of Christ globally.
GOD IS BLESSING US!
Listen, we started 2021 out in the RED but because we’ve been obedient to the voice of God and have done some hard things. We finished the year well ahead of any of our expectations – well into the Black!!
Ya know – we have a great leadership team in this church and I’m so thankful for each and every one of you!

There’s one section of scripture that has been on my heart all week as I’m been working on this message.
2 Chron 20:13-19.  Where Israel was at war with their enemies…  If you’ve been reading your bibles you know that ancient Israel went back and forth from being disobedient to God, breaking His covenant, then getting attacked, losing, being captured, and then they’d cry out to God for help.
Q:  How many times have we done the same thing?
2 Chronicles 20:13–19 CSB
All Judah was standing before the Lord with their dependents, their wives, and their children. In the middle of the congregation, the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel (son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite from Asaph’s descendants), and he said, “Listen carefully, all Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. This is what the Lord says: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast number, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow, go down against them. You will see them coming up the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley facing the Wilderness of Jeruel. You do not have to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. He is with you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Tomorrow, go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.’ ” Then Jehoshaphat knelt low with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord to worship him. Then the Levites from the sons of the Kohathites and the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel shouting loudly.

GIVERS
Listen, the growth and health of the church requires that all of us work the vision that God has given us – to carry the Gospel of Christ Jesus to the biker nations and to the ends of the earth.
Also as we are about to take communion – we need to examine ourselves. <pass out communion elements>
If you’re watching on the livestream – prepare yourselves as well and get your communion elements ready too!
1 Corinthians 11:28–31 CSB
Let a person examine himself; in this way let him eat the bread and drink from the cup. For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself. This is why many are sick and ill among you, and many have fallen asleep. If we were properly judging ourselves, we would not be judged,
COMMUNION Matthew 26:26–30
Matthew 26:26–30 CSB
As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take and eat it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks, he gave it to them and said, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. But I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
VBC – Like I said we finished 2021 strong so let’s keep the momentum going.  AMEN?
