Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

1. God Has a purpose for you.

“ For we are His workmanship”
Notice the His is capitalized, that means that we are Jesus Christ creation.
We are called to be disciples. the root of disciples is discipline.
the kind of discipline that we are after is about eternity.
one of the core values of the faith is that we don’t bring it down to fit us we grow up in all things to fit it.
Ephesians 4:15–16 NKJV
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
we are called to grow up into Christ.
we need to serve each other
and the whole will grow.

2. We are created for Good works.

“ We Are Created for Good works”
can you think of your last mistake ?
I can!
Are you dealing with a consequence of a mistake?
Does it irritate you each time you run up against a consequence?
Shouldn’t we spend at least that amount of time thinking about what He created us for?
This is what we r working toward, walking in the will of God for our lives. to walk in a way to bring Glory to God.
some people talk about the power of God as if it’s a set of personal experiences that one should have, however that is not the case. we are here to carry out the function that God has called you too.

3. God prepared the works that we should walk in them before hand.

“Which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them”
no pastor is born that way, we have to reach up to fit the call we are called too.
in order to prepare for Good works we are going to prepare ourselves to renew ourselves.

4. Repentance is the the key to refreshment.

Acts 3:19 NKJV
19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
times of refreshing comes from repentance.
1 John 1:9 NKJV
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

5. Put yourself Together.

Proverbs 3:5–6 NKJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
look at your gifting.
don't let pride keep you from learning to be what and who God called you to be.
