Today, we're going to talk about Joy. Scripture tells us the joy of the Lord is our strength. Today is we like the joy candle. The question that we have to ask ourselves as we do, we have the joy that God wants to have. We can have their worlds joy in that. Only lasts for a short. Of time, but when we have God's joy, It Last Forever. As the Shepherds were told about the birth of Christ. It said they had exceeding great joy, they rejoiced that he was born.

If you have Christ in your heart, do you have that same exceeding? Great joy. If not, why not? We need that joy in this world. We live in today. So let's put Christ first. Let's allow him to fill us with his joy. And then that will have the Hope in the peace in the love. That he wants us to have Bennett. You're going to help me late a couple and Scarlett will help me like a couple. Sorry.

We like the joy candle today.

All right, you got to keep your eyes on these today. Make sure they don't catch fire. Charles has something she's going to do it.

Very good. Let's pray. You like that one. Father. We thank you. We thank you for the joy that we can have in Jesus Christ. We thank you for these children and the hope and the peace that they can have him knowing Christ as your lord and savior. We ask that you go before us guide us and directors is only you can in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Thank you guys. Morning, if you have your Bible turn with me, will to Psalm 89. Psalm 89 verse 15.

Two or three types of four types of Joy. This morning. We're going to talk about what we find in Psalm 89 in verse 15. this thought, Blessed are the people who know those joyful sound, they walk or Lord in the light of your countenance? Blessed are the people he says, who know the joyful sound?

Joyful, sound. For the shade. Joyful, sounds for the centers with thankful, for those sound or thankful for what God can do regardless of where we are in life. Whether we're the young ones over here saying or the little bit older ones over here, singing as well doing their parts. It's a joyful sound that gets us and excites us and makes us happy. Those of us. Who are, you can remember this sum will have no clue. How many of you can remember the first time you got a television with a remote control with a muse on it? Remember that? What did you do when the commercial came on? Once you got that power in your hand? What you do, you muted the commercials and therefore it didn't take long after you muted. Those commercials with new ones would come on. You had no clue what they were. Am I right? I mean before you can watch him on television. The wee ones are commercial, you know, when you can sing along, even with they were neutered, you knew what they were saying. You knew what it was about. But once we were able to take the sound of shut it off. We didn't have to listen to that mess anymore. And he eventually eventually, we had no idea what the commercials were about it. Like, I watch commercial now and sometimes I have no clue what they're talking about. The what are they talking about? Right? And even when I get done, I'm supposed to have a clue. I couldn't tell you what it was about her, that has no purpose to it. Sound is important. The sound of Joyful. Sound is important for you. And for me as Believers, it's important for us to have a joyful sound to those around us so that they would know this hope that we have. The problem is and I use this illustration and I maybe I use it too much with, you know, the story about Adam and Eve in the garden. Got so you can have all this enjoy, just leave that alone. Don't go over there and they chose to go over there and partake of that, which God told them, that if they had a choice, they had the freedom to do. Whatever. God says, you got all this. Just don't go over there and they went anyway. And in my thought, process this week, I'm taking your weed as Christians are somewhat, the same way just in the opposite direction. As Christians as Believers will say, Lord come into my heart. Be my Lord, and be my savior. Hopefully you've done that, Lord. You can do whatever you want with me, but, Don't ask me or don't show me or don't direct me. We have that dark spot in our hearts that we sell God not to go into.

Yesterday, we had some grandchildren over to her house, watching them in the afternoon and we had to make a rule when they got there. Usually, they have the freedom to go wherever they want the house. But this rule. Yes. It was his okay, guys. Nobody can go upstairs. You can't go upstairs into the bedroom. So the question. The answer or the the thing was once we made that statement there was a lot of question. Well, why not?

Because we said, so. This Christmas presents up there that haven't been wrapped yet. Mostly, there's when you have nine grandkids, there's a lot of Christmas presents up here. That haven't been wrapped yet. That was a rule, all of a sudden. You can't go upstairs. Guess what?

They're looking, they're looking at the stairs. What's up? A box. Can I go upstairs? Just to look at the stockings know you can see the stocking some down here. They look a whole lot better down here. Looking up then. Up there looking down. But what I want to go up and look at it and touch him, know. You can't go upstairs. That's part of the upstairs. Why is it?

Can't drink too much of my water. I might need it.

How many were here last Sunday? Sorry, little fire. We had over here first. Time in 29 years got to do something exciting, right? Why is it that when we're told we can't that's when we want to. when were told not to, that's when we decided to Why is it? When we tell God? Okay. I want what you have. But don't ask me or don't direct me or point me in a certain direction. I don't want to do that. How we totally given God are all, we have it. And we know we have and we know that there are things in our hearts and our lives that we haven't given to him. Therefore. We don't have the joy. He wants us to have Nehemiah 8:10, says, what the joy of the Lord is your strength. Is the joy of the Lord your strength. Today are the things of the world, your strength. The things that the world offers. Is that what you're looking forward to the gain insight and guidance and direction from God has spoken to the heart of every person, those who have been born again. He spoken to us through, faith in Jesus Christ. There are many ways in which God has spoken to us. Have you ever thought of some of those sounds? And yes, I'm sure we've heard him speak and when we here and speaking things that we don't want to hear, we push the mute button. The problem is God allows us to do that. But God can also override that mute button, if he so chooses, he can speak. So loudly through others. He can you speak. So loudly through situations that we hear what he saying? We may not want to do it. It's only through Christ that God can speak and Hebrews chapter 1 verse 12 verse 2, says this, God, with sundry times. And divers manners, spake, as in times past onto the father's, by the prophets who happened. These last days spoken unto us by his son, whom he has appointed, heir of All Things by whom also, he made the worlds. God, the Father who created the universe, God, the Father who made all things. God, the Father who sent us his son, Jesus Christ, that baby born in a manger that baby born of a virgin birth in a way that no one has ever been born before. I mean, Adam and Eve were created from the dust of the ground, but God brought forth his son through a virgin to become the savior. A world that whosoever believeth in him that baby the Savior have everlasting life. Do you hear that? Or do you mute that when you hear it? That's an important aspect of life for all of us. Many people in this world. Today have muted that many people in this world today and turn the volume down. They don't want to hear it. They know it's true. They've seen God do things. They felt God's presence around them. They seen it in other people, but they don't want to follow through with what God is asking them to do. and therefore, We got because we don't follow through many times with what God has asked us to do. We end up with things like happened last weekend and in Kentucky with the tornadoes and other tragedies other situations that happened. And when those things happen, who gets the blame for that? Usually got, right. The unbelievers will look at us as believes. It will what kind of God is that, that, that would allow that kind of tragedy to happen to innocent people. What did they do to deserve to lose their lives? What did they do to deserve to lose their houses? They're at their jobs. Wanted. What did they do wrong? And the answer is necessary. Did they do anything wrong? But the answer to that is send. For when someone entered into this world, death came up on mankind. And that wasn't God's doing. Who's doing was that man? Adam and Eve decided to do their own thing? You got all of this to enjoy. You got all of this two-part taken. You got all of this to have fun and live life. To the fullest. Everything you need is out there. Just leave one stupid dream. I might translation, stupid tree along.

And they couldn't leave that one tree alone. What is it in our life that God is speaking to us? That we've muted the sound to that. We're not listening to that. We're going it in the direction that we know. We shouldn't be going. And therefore, that decision that we're making is zapping the joy. Out of our lives.

Do a center one. Who knows that he has lost. Its the most welcome sound to hear the truth. That Jesus saves remember. That moment in your life, that moment when you realize that it's not your your goodness that get you into heaven. It is not your finances that get you into heaven. It's not reaching out to your neighbors and doing the right thing with your neighbors. Loving them as as you're just putting God first. Love the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might with all your strength and then your neighbor but you put God first loved him. Obey him, listen to him except his gift of Salvation, Jesus Christ. That little baby that was born in a manger. Well, that's foolishness. Then. Why is it that we are still celebrating his birth today? I mean it's going to be Friday Saturday Christmas that we celebrate Christmas this year. But people today are still celebrating the birth of Jesus for years and years and years. They've done that, we've celebrated the birth, but we've changed it from being Christmas to Holiday. It's still Christmas. It's still Christmas. Jesus Christ came into this world as a gift to you and they give to me and we have all these gifts up here today that are going out to people who have who have asked for things to people brought the gift in, you know, how they get this gift. It's already here. It's already been designated to them. But in order for them to get this gift, you know what they have to do today. They got to come and get it. They got to come and get it if they don't come and get it. They don't get it. And that's the same way with salvation. The gift of Jesus Christ. It's there for whomever, who's whoever wolf may come. But in order for you to have it, you've got to reach out and take it. God's not going to cram it down your throat. He's not going to stuff it in your pocket. He's not going to let you take home and and set it in the corner. Okay, I got it. But in case I needed, I know where it's at.

I'm those of you with younger children. You know what happens? Every Christmas? They open their Christmas gifts and they get plenty and they look around and go. They're excited about the toy that they got. It goes over to the side. They open another present, it goes to the side, and maybe for that week, the play with it, but eventually it gets stuck in the toy box. And eventually mom and dad goes to the toy box and cleans out, right? Haven't seen them playing with this toy for a while. I haven't seen them doing anything with this. Many people do the salvation of side and hold on to it in case I really need it. Someday. Can I tell you something that some day has come? We need Jesus? Turn the music off, turn the volume up with listen to what he say through those around you who are sharing the good news, his work. The greatest thing that has given us outside of his son. Jesus Christ is the word cousin. John chapter one. We said in the last week, in the word, the word became flesh and dwelt Among Us, Jesus Christ, and we beheld his glory, as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace, full of Truth. He's gives us joy. When we accept him. He gives us joy. When we reach out to him. You know, the joy that you feel when when that little baby is placed into your arm. How can you hate at that moment? At that time? How can you, despise? Which one of these children up here today, presenting the Christmas story? Do you despise? And why would you, why would you hate them? Your Brazilian get story of the Lord, May understand it. Somebody not understanding yet. But guess what? One day, when they come to that point that time where they have to reckon with God, begin to understand what it's all about. They have to make a decision themselves. Yes, I believe her. No, I don't. So I'm up here already come to that point. Others have not yet. Well, what happened to those that haven't yet? Made that decision. They haven't yet accepted Christ as your lord, I believe my God, my God has a special place for them in Heaven, until that time. For those who have not heard have no accountability. But once we've heard the gospel message, once, we don't understand and we said, yes, I want what you have to offer and I don't want. What you tell me to stay away from, I don't want that. The problem with you and me today. Cuz we want both worlds, don't we? Oh, yes. I I know what God has offer but this Darkness over here, this the ways of the world and I'm still prone to do that.

We all are. Roll centers, 1st Timothy 1:15. This is a Papal saying, worthy of all, acceptation, that Jesus Christ came into the world to save who? Centers. Anybody here today? Who is not a center, raise your hand. I won't put my hand up. We're all sinners. We all sin. Even after salvation. We send we don't do, right. We're human. But the shed blood of Jesus Christ, covers that sin that doesn't give us a right to do wrong. But it's just like those children. Last night at my house. They knew they weren't to go upstairs. That didn't keep him from trying. That didn't keep them from Desert and we didn't tell them why they couldn't go upstairs. We didn't tell him all those presents up there. They haven't been wrapped.

You know, how excited do you get about a present that you unwrap that you already know what it is when you unwrap it? I did that one year as a kid. Mom and dad were gone. I was home all alone. I open my gifts. Carefully meticulously open them up to see what I was getting for Christmas. And when Christmas day came, when we opened our guests, I had to pretend to be excited.

My mom had. Purchase is one year a little bracelet with all meet me and my my brother my sister that were still home. I think we've all three of us got bracelets with their name engraved on it. So here we are. We we got our bracelets with, with our names and grades. And my mom had put these bracelets in in their package into another package, which was a model car package. If I as I remember. So I open it up when I saw it was a model car. So I thought I was getting a model car for Christmas to be able to put it all together. Remember that? And they're in your room with your glue and putting those things together, you pay them later.

So I got them all the card. I never opened it cuz that's what I thought I got. I didn't go any further. My mom says to me, aren't you going to open it to see what it is? The model car know you better open the bracelet that and I was wondering at the moment. Why my sister got one? Why my brother got one and I didn't There's was in different packaging. I didn't notice what their packaging was. I just noticed that they got a bracelet. That was a really, the only present that year. I was excited about when I open them. It's already knew what I was getting. or so, I thought Do we do that with Jesus? Do we know what we're getting all? We know that we read it in his work. But yes, what every day is a new day. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Do we have all the things of the world to steal our joy to allow the things of the world has a poor Joy. Do we allow the things our world to remove our joy? Or do we allow the Lord to renew that Joy day-by-day? I don't know what people are going to, I know there's trials and tribulations in this world. I know there are those who are sick, going through health issues, Financial issues marital issues. You name it? It's around us. And yes, it's easy for me to say in my life. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Just trust. God will see you through. It's easy to say that.

It's easier to say that and do that when you practice it everyday.

Is the joy of the Lord is your strength? Or do you watch the stock market? And when the stock market goes up, you get more joy when it goes out at all. What are we going to do?

We allow other things to steal our joy, we had this sound of Salvation that I'm excited as each and every day. Knowing that this baby came into this world to save the world from its ends. All we blame God for the trials and tribulations, but it's our fault. Maybe not mind directly. But sins of the world is why we had the trash trees around us because when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, they disobeyed god. What the scripture say? Because of one man sin entered into the world and death. By that sin.

When we don't have the joy, it's hard to be excited about the things of God. Why? Because we need to unmute, we need to turn the volume up and listen Point number to the sound of Separation. Once we know Christ is our Lord and savior. Once we are a follower of him. We need to separate ourselves from the things of the world. What would that be? We need to go move up on the mountain? No, that's not what God has asked us to do. Had somebody tell me that they that they like me because I'm just a common guy. I'm just like them. I'm not sure what that means. Some people. I'm excited to hear that from some people. Not so excited to hear that from. You're just a common guy. You just like us. But here's the thing, our Lord and Jesus our lord and savior. Jesus Christ. How did he minister to the world? He didn't remove himself from the Durham moments. He had to get up on a mountain, to pray for a few days to get through a right, but he came down and he measured the people as they were where they were. He ministered to the drunk orgy, minister to The Prostitute. He ministered to the thief. He reached out to whomever, they were. He rubbed elbows with Sinners and publicans, and all of those people like so that he could show them the joy. And trusting in God. The sound of Separation, removing ourselves, 2nd Corinthians commands us to be separated a separated people. Look what he says in verse 1. Second Corinthians, 7, verse 1, having therefore these promises dearly beloved. Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the Flesh and the spirit perfecting Holiness. In the fear of God. We need to work towards making ourselves wholly, and it's not easy in this world. We live in today. There's a lot of evil, right at our fingertips. We can reach out to in a moment. If we so desired. I'm not part of this thing of God's. They listen. Look, what all I've given you. I give you all of this to enjoy all the things to have to have joy from juice to gain strength from trust in the Lord. You got all this, just leave the things of the world.

What is the things of the world that were prone to go to? Play God is a jealous God. He's not jealous or himself. He's jealous for his children. We're here this morning. We know Christ is our Lord and savior. We are his children and he is jealous for us. He wants the best for us.

This morning, you watch them children perform up here. And I'm sure those parents who were here this morning and their children were up here for fun. Yes, you saw the other children that were with them, but your number one Focus was on. Who your own children. Am I right, am I wrong? There's a star that sort of tried to steal the show.

But here's your focus on your children that you were taking pictures specifically on your children. He has other people showing me getting away.

You're jealous. If you want the best for your children, it's not for you. It's for them. The same way. He wants the best for you. He wants the best for me. He's got the best. He's got it off. He needs nothing else. He is a jealous God. He wants to share that perfect. Love that perfect compassion to his people. He wants complete devotion. In Mark chapter 12, verse 29, through verse 30 says, this is the first of all, the committee is hear o Israel. The Lord. Our God is one Lord and thou shalt love the Lord. Thy God. With all of my heart with all my soul, with all of my mind and with all of my strength. Do you love in that way? If you don't, you don't have the joy, he wants you to have, you may have some of the joy. But there's complete Joyce, there's more to be had trials and tribulations come your way. Yes, we get affected by those. We don't like it. But then the joy of the Lord is my strength. Okay. You see me through this, you get me through this. I can't do it on my own, and yes, we got church people to help us through. But you know what? We can't do it by ourselves either. Even with people, we need God to guide us, God to direct us. And we need to trust him how with all of our heart with all of our soul, with all of our mind and with all of our strength him first. Him first. Husbands God first, then your spouse. Why is God first then your spouse God first, then your children. This is the way it is. We put God in that right place to rest of it. Falls in the being, we mess it up. Then it's not his fault, the trials and tribulations the heartaches and the hardships, the cancers the store, the pandemic, that's not his fault. Yes. Yes, if he so chose to do that. But if he does that then you and I no longer have a choice. We have a choice to serve him. Are we jacked him? There's no in-between. Either we know him or we don't scriptures, you either for me or you are against me. We can't stand in the middle of it while. I'm right in the middle. I got one over here. I'm doing. What God wants you over here and doing what the world wants. That's where we are. Our heart is not fully given to him. Our soul is not fully giving him. Our mind. Our strength is not fully given to him and that's where the trials and tribulations coming. I'm not saying. That we can't be saved and live. That way. I understand. You can't be joyful as a child of God and live that way. You want real Joy? True? Good Joy. Wonderful. Joy. Let Jesus into your heart and your life, 100%. You'll get it. He's a jealous. God for you to be. Holy, my desire for my children is not that they be like their father, God, help them if they are. I want them to be better than me. I want them to go beyond wherever I might be spiritually. I want them to be able to go beyond that. Wherever, I might be financially. I want my child to be able to go beyond that, but that is not where hope enjoy. Truly comes from Hope. And joy, truly come from being where Christ wants us to be being where he has to be 1st. Peter, 1:15, verse 16. You is Holy. So be ye holy in all manner of conversation because it is written be holy for. I am Holy. Don't be holy because Patrick lights tries to be wholly. I'm not wholly. I'll be the first one to tell you. I'm like, what Peter says, will read that here? Or what Paul says, if we need that here in a minute, the least of the least. Be holy as Christ is Holy. That's where true Joy comes from. Third. We see the sound of service. Turn the mute button off. Get back on, get the volume up. Listen, to what God is saying, only separated people can really serve God as God wants you to. Are you serving God or serving the world? He said you cannot serve, God, and Mammon choose you this day whom you will serve. God always calls his own to service in his own time according to his own purpose.

First Samuel chapter 3 verse 10 through verse 21. We had the story of Samuel, the boy prophet. Hannah's mother pray that God would give her a child and she did she, she gave her Samuel and she said Lord you give me a child. I will dedicate that child to you for the rest of their life. And as soon as Samuel was, when she took him to the temple, gave him to the prophet. Eli. Sit here, raise him in the House of Lords. Raise him in the ways of God. And you know the story Samuel heard God speak in the middle of night thinking it was real. I heard God speak. I'll get it. Right sandal her. God speaking, the middle night thinking it was Eli calling him. So he runs into Eli the prophets room. What can I do for you? Realizing. What do you mean? I didn't call you to go back to bed. A little bit later. Same as back in this bed. The boy properties hearing God speak again thinking as he like goes back to the Eli from Paris. You understand how that works. Right? And the kids come in your room two or three times in the night. He mentioned that there are 24 times and would you just go to bed. Go to sleep.

Eli says the same. No, listen. The next time that boys 2 weeks, you say Lord, what would you have me to do?

That's quite the statement. When God is speaking. And when he's asking you to do something, you don't want to do that, that dark part of your heart that you've not given to him yet. So they know don't just do what I want. Not what you want. But we know that if we do what God wants us to do, we will be blessed.

The boy profits of Lord, what would you have me to do when he goes back to the sea? Lion and tells me like that, the voice was there again, he knows who it was until I realized that God have been spoken speaking to that, youngboy.

Is God speaking to you? Do you have the volume up? Do you have the voice of God muted? So you don't have to deal with it? There's many ways to mute God's Voice. Number one. Don't get in the book. This is his word. He speaks to us through it. Number two. Don't listen to others as they share God's blessings with you. Don't talk to God. See, communication is a two-way street. We need to hear from God and we need to talk to God many times. We talked to God, but then we wonder why we don't hear from God. We're not in his word. We're not in his word.

Sometimes. The sound of other things are going on around us when God is speaking. We understand that. You into a good show on television, your spouse is speaking to you.

And the later, what would you want to do that? Do what?

Never happens in your household.

We get excited about something, something something is going on. We want to hear. We want to hear we're trying to lose. We have no idea what they're saying. And was that way with God? Many times, aren't we? What we hear is Charlie Brown's teacher. Yes, ma'am. We have? No, I have no idea what Charlie Brown's teacher said. And sometimes we hear God that way because we're not doing them. We don't have the volume up many times. We put him on mute. The Lord called Isaiah to a definite surrender, in a very difficult, task and Isaiah chapter 6. Verse 8 through 10. Is it also, I heard the voice of the goal for us, but I said here, my Lord, send me, and he said, go and tell this people here. Ye MD, but understand not and see ENT, but perceive not, make a hurt others. People fat, and make their ears heavy shut their eyes less. They see with their eyes and hear with your ears and understand with their heart and convert and be healed. The problem is we're not hearing what God says. We got her ears shut to him. We're not seeing what God is doing without their ears cut that, but we're hearing the world. We're seeing the world and it's overwhelming us. Then what do we do? How do we get through this? Have you felt that way? Recently. What's your next step? Trust in the Lord, with all your heart.

Dealer, all your heart, trust in the Lord, with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge. Him, and He will direct your path. The pastor. What if it's a path. I've never been down before. He will direct your path.

How many of you have gone someplace? You didn't know where you're going. So you put it in your GPS, you let your GPS guys. You how to get there. Have you done that? Why is it? We put our faith in our trust more in our GPS is then we do in God's GPS. God's got a GPS. Yes, God's Plan of Salvation.

Huh? God's Plan of Salvation. And when we trust God's Plan of Salvation, we need to trust him to guide us daily. Wherever we go.

This is the world and that's Don't know what's exactly going to have one that's trusting. The one who is jealous for you.

I trust God all the time. I get myself in a situation where I got to say, OK, Google. You got a guy you got to drink cuz I have no idea. Where's going from here? He's never failed me. I dropped the ball for him from time to time, but he has never failed me. We need to be like, Isaiah two stamps. Dear, my Lord. Send me here. My Lord use me. I don't know that. I'm a get the capability. I don't know that. This is where my in my wheelhouse but Lord you guide me. You direct me. You show me what you want me to do is keep that for all kinds of people in throughout the Old Testament, had you noticed. Moses lord, I can't do that. I can't even speak. Right? Okay. Well, I'll send you a helper to speak for you. His brother Aaron. Abraham Lord, what do you mean? My might might see Jody counters and see, I can't even have a child. Will you will someday you will be blessed with a child and threw that child? This baby. Jesus will be born through that line through that seed. How long do you have to wait for that? What didn't happen? Yesterday, didn't happen the day before it happened. 40 years later. 40 years. I'm glad we got to wait for God's promise to come through. I've been hearing all my life. The Lord is coming back. Wednesday going to happen. I don't know. I don't know. So far. I've waited 62 years. He hasn't returned yet.

One day he will. He's going to take his children out of here. Will reign with him on high. And then he comes back to Earth and we reign with him forever and ever. One day that will happen. I got the volume up on that. I'm paying attention to that. I'm seeing what's going on in the world in the more. The world's going, the wrong direction. I see, God's eminent return happening. That shouldn't scare you. That should excite you, that should give you Joy. That yes, God's plan is coming to pass and yes, I need to share his plan with those that I love. and even with those that you don't,

God Called Paul in the, but very unusual way on that Damascus Road to do a task. That stirred, the world that this day. And that passed that Paul was called to do is still going on. It's happening, right here, right now, this morning, sharing the gospel with the Gentiles. What is called is the dew point number for the sound of the second coming? Are you prepared for that or do we mute the sound? Be that we don't hear about. We don't to talk about the Lord coming back because that needs the end time. Are we seeing those cartoons for years and years and years. The end is near. I believe it more today than I've ever believed it. But I don't know when the end is, I'm not giving up. I'm not selling everything. I got and go live on a Mountaintop. I'm still going to live my life each and every day to the fullest with the joy of the Lord, you know, why? Because the joy of the Lord is why? My strength. The volume is up on that. I haven't hit the mute button cuz I want to continue to understand the joy of the Lord is my strength and I need to get rid of that dark spot in my heart open up. So the light can come in and shine upon my heart. So I can be what God has called me to be. John 14:2 anniversary, Jesus of listen, I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you to myself that where I am there. You may be in my father's house are many mansions. He talks about that. He saying listen I prepared a place for each of you. But what he also knows and not everyone will accept that. But not everyone has the joy of the Lord. It's not his fault. He gave us his son as a supreme sacrifice that baby boy, 32 years later was taken in sacrifice, on, on a tree on a cross. We celebrate Easter and yet, we try to say, well, this never happened. Here. We are celebrating the birth of Jesus. We we we remember and celebrate his death because his death gives us hope and eternal life through that shed blood. And yet the world wants to do away with that. Spring break. It's holiday. Season holiday break. Right now. It's Christmas break and it's Easter break for me, and always will be. What about you offending others? I'm sorry. Mute me.

How do, how many people just online? Just did that needed me?

Going to read my lips now. Jesus is coming a man. He's coming when I don't know but let's be faithful one. Last verse first. John three three and every man that had this, hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure. Do you have that? Hope. Do you have that Joy? Do you have the peace and the love of Jesus? The world can't give it all the world to give it to you for a little bit that new house me. Give it to you for a little bit and then things start to fall apart that new car. May give it to you for a little bit till he gets dinged in the parking lot during Christmas season. Write a new life, give you hope for a little bit and then you got to change a diaper. Morton wants you got to get up in the middle of the night, more than once they're crying. Because they got a problem and you don't know it is and they can't tell you what it is, but you can't get that sleep that you desired. No, that is not the kind of joy that God wants. It's a joy that only he can gather that he even in the midst of the storm, the trial, the tribulation. There's joy. You can listen to stories about people. In Kentucky, the trials and tribulations. They went through all this past week, but you can also hear those giving joy and praise to God for the way. Others have come together to help them in the midst of the trial. In the mist of the tribulation. There's always a light to shine on the darkness. Be that light, be what God has called you to be? Give joy to others, but we can't really give it if you don't have it, open up that dark spot of your heart that God is a God here. Am I send me? Father? We thank you. Thank you for your goodness. Your mercy and your love guide us and direct us and your path. Father, we know that this Christmas season for many people will be a tough one. Those who have lost loved ones, and it's going to be different. And those who are going through some trials and tribulations, and the uncertainty of tomorrow. But we know that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Not the things of the world, not those even closest to us, or they can help or they can hurt what our true strength comes from. The Lord guide us and directors. I will give you the praise in Jesus name. Amen.
