Christmas is a festival, not a funeral.

God expects us to celebrate and celebration is contagious.

Our celebration is based on what God has said and what God will do.

Mary Pondered

Luke 2:17–19 NIV

17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

2:19 It is possible that Luke gained much of his knowledge about what happened in chaps. 1 and 2 from talking to Mary, who recalled the things she had “treasured” in her heart.
