In His humanity, God had human needs

Jesus was born

7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

Jesus had to grow up

40 And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.

Jesus hungered

12 On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry.

Jesus Thirsted

John 19:28 (ESV)
28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.”

Jesus needed rest

In His humanity, God had human emotions

Jesus experienced true isolation and complete loneliness

In His humanity, God had very human problems

Jesus’ Family did not trust him

Jesus experienced shame

In his Humanity Jesus shows us the way to God (Now & Later)

Jesus is God

John 1:14 ESV
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The way to God is through persecution

John 15:20 ESV
20 Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

Jesus represents us before God the Father

5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Jesus is the way to God

Hebrews 2:17 ESV
17 Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

In His humanity, Jesus died, was buried, ascended and is coming again!
