Psalm 62
Exclusive
Trusting God means we trust only Him (1, 2, 5, 6).
If faith isn’t exclusive, it isn’t faith.
Trusting in God is fitting at all times (vs8).
Our actions are rooted in faith, not a substitute for it.
Good Reason - Power (vs11)
This is beyond simply being powerful - power belongs to God.
We have a need for power to overcome what is against us.
Why trust anything besides the One who owns it all?
Good Reason - Love
Just as power belongs to God, so does love.
God’s love for us was on full display in Jesus Christ.
We must remember that the owner and source of love,
loves us.
Why trust anything besides the One who truly loves?
