Jesus is the Final Glorious Revelation of God to man. Jesus is Better!
Hebrews was written (Paul, Luke, Barnabas?) to encourage Jewish Believers to continue in their faith. Likely priests that had come to faith in Christ and had lost their position and provision. In discouragement, they were considering a return to the Old Covenant. Hebrews exhorts and warns, by encouraging them to look at the better reward in Christ.

God has spoken! In varies ways (creation, signs, miracles, prophets, etc.) and at various times.
NOW, God has spoken to us in HIS SON! Jesus is the Supreme Revelation of God.
Upon the Mount of Transfiguration the Father declared, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen, Hear HIM!” Lk 9:35
The question is not whether God speaks, He HAS, the question is do we listen?

He is the appointed heir of all things. "What is the world coming to? It’s coming to Jesus!” Adrian Rogers
He is Creator of all (actually, the word means the ages). Time and space were both brought into existence through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the glory of God incarnate. He is one in nature with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
The Son is the mirror image, exact representation of God.
John 14:8-9 “Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”

He upholds (literally “bears / carries”) the universe by His powerful Word.
He’s got the whole universe in his hands.

He offered the perfect sacrifice. Acceptable to God the Father. Hebrews 9:14 “how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”
His Superior Position

He is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high! He is seated, because His work of redemption has been accomplished. There were no seats in the Tabernacle, the priests always stood, but Jesus has finished the work!
Jesus is better than the angels.
This is the theme of the entire book! Jesus is Better!
Heb 7:19 - Jesus has given us a Better Hope.
Heb 7:22 - Jesus guarantees a Better Covenant.
Heb 8:6 - He is a Better Mediator of the covenant based on Better Promises.
Heb 9:23 - Jesus is the Better Sacrifice.
Heb 10:34 - He has given us a Better Possession (eternal).
Heb 11:16 - God has promised us a Better Country.
Heb 11:35 - We have a promise of a Better Resurrection.
Heb 12:24 - Jesus is the Better Word!
