The faithfulness of God's grace is greater than our sin. Joshua 16-17 outlines the land God gave to the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, and it records a couple of key details that demonstrate the surpassing power of God's grace. While the giving of the land was a reason to celebrate, this passage makes us remember the pervasiveness of human sin. Thankfully, it also teaches us of the surpassing wisdom and mercy of God our Savior.
