Today we meet a new person in the narrative of Jesus’ passion. That person is Pontius Pilat. As we dive into this narrative this morning, it’s important to note that the other three Gospels give much more details than Mark.
So we’re going to harmonize the Gospels so we can see a more vivid picture of today’s narrative. But we’re really going to focus on this man named Pontius Pilate. Who is this man? And why is he so important in the life of Jesus Christ?
