Romans 14:1–8 NIV84
1 Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. 2 One man’s faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. 5 One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8 If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

1. God has an open door policy

We must accept every person that comes to church
Their background should not matter
Their strength of faith should not matter
We are all growing not at the same rate

2. Don’t allow disputable matters to divide the Faith

We all have a measure of faith
We don’t all have the same amount of faith
We don’t have the same faith on many matters
Vaccines is a disputable matter, don’t let it divide your family or church
We must have unity in faith—Jesus
We must have unity in faith—Jesus is the only way to the Father
We must have unity in faith—Jesus is our Savior, no one can come to salvation outside of Jesus

3. We need freedom to practice our faith

Don’t compare
If you feel you can eat anything, do so
If you feel you can’t eat everything, don’t
There are some clear commands those we must all agree on
Don’t be a drunk
Don’t be a adulterer
Don’t be a liar
Don’t be a fornicator
Be a person of grace
Love one another
Encourage each other

4. You must be fully convinced in your faith

Make sure you know what you are talking about
Make sure you know God’s plan for you
Many are the plans in a mans heart but it is His purpose that prevails
Paul said, “I am fully persuaded that nothing can separate us from His Love that we have in Jesus”
We must be fully convinced in what we believe
We must be fully convinced in whom we believe
We must be fully convinced whose we are

5. Those in the faith all belong to the Lord

Weak or strong
Tall or short
Rich or poor
Outward appearance doesn’t matter
He died for all
Those that accept Jesus as Lord and Savior belong to Him
Don’t judge His children
Encourage one another
