Left her waterpot
went into the city and said to the men “come, see”
coming to him
v 31 - the disciples again
“Rabbi, eat” - attention to the wrong things (what about the woman?)
v 32 - I have food

The disciples confusion (common theme…missing the spiritual)
The woman left her water pot…she had come for the water
v 34 - spiritual food
v 35 - teaches the disciples
“four months” - waiting period of time
“fields…white for harvest” - people coming in white robes

36 Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 “Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
