Psalm 136
God is Good
God is the ruler of all and therefore the one we should thank.
We must remember that God is good.
The more we are thankful to Him the more we are reminded of His goodness.
Are you giving thanks to the one who is truly good?
His Work
God alone has done what is truly great.
Creation shows the power, order, and wisdom of God (vs5-9).
It is God alone who has redeemed His people.
How can we not be thankful when remembering what He has done?
Enduring Love
We must remember the depths of the love that God has shown.
We can look forward with certainty because of the changeless nature of God’s love.
We know that every one of God’s eternal promises is true.
We have reasons to be thankful and we always will.
