What does the helmet protect?

Brain, Face, Eyes and Ears
We will be looking at the spiritual implications of each of these as we move through this series.
Other than the heart the brain is the most important organ of the body. The body cannot function without the brain.
Salvation
Hebrew word for salvation is Yeshua- The name of Jesus
Greek word for salvation is Sozo.
They both mean- save, rescue, prosper, make whole, deliver and heal and make secure/safe.
We will also be looking at each of these words and how they impact our lives…or should be impacting our lives as we go along.
Eternal security:
The enemy loves to attack your mind and heart with doubts about your salvation. This is one area of weakness for many followers of Jesus. The helmet of salvation should protect us, but many do not have it on for protection. Many people vacillate (to alternate or waver between different opinions or actions. To be indecisive.) on whether they are saved or not. For many people it depends on whether they are IN THAT MOMENT walking in righteousness or sin.
Old view of salvation- God will zap you if you are disobedient.
Verses to help you put on the helmet of salvation.
John 3:16 ““For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John 10:28-29 “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”
Hebrews 7:25 “Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.”
Romans 8:1-2 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:34 “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.”
1 John 5:13 “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”
God will never “unsave you”. You cannot lose your salvation. What you can do however, is make a choice not to receive it anymore. You can throw it in the trash! We can look at these verses another day, but you need to understand that God isn’t waiting to yank your salvation away from you! You are eternally secure if you have surrendered to Jesus in repentance and have asked for forgiveness of all of your sins... made Him the Lord of your life and are trying to demonstrate your love for Him by following His commandments.
Your Heavenly Daddy wants you to know that you know that you know that you are His. He wants you to know you are loved....you are special…you are safe…you are secure! Put on your helmet and
