Acts 2:42-47

“So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about 3000 souls.” Acts 2:41

I. Loving others by our commitment to our church. (vs 42-43)

1. In doctrine.

Luke 24:45-48

2. In fellowship.

a. Experienced by new believers.

b. Forbids us to not be attached to other believers.

Hebrews 10:25

3. In sharing meals together.

Luke 22:19

4. In prayer.

5. In godly fear.

II. Loving others by our commitment to our ministries. (vs 44-45)

Luke 9:23

1. Do we love the things of the world more than people?

2. Do we love the world more than our hope of eternal life?

3. Do we love our position, recognition and power more than Christ?

III. Loving others by our commitment to worship. (vs 46-47)

1. The believers were worshipping together regularly.

2. The believers were worshipping together in their homes.

3. The believers were worshipping together in unity.

4. The believers were praising God together.

5. The believers were together favored by God.
