1 I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. 2 I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

today’s Text:
Matthew 5:8 (NKJV)
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
1) The fruit of the Gospel is an inside out Job.
1) The fruit of the Gospel is an inside out Job.
Jesus said to us the pure in heart will see God.
notice that he didn’t say the pure in walk.
notice he didn’t say the perfect in doctrine.
Notice it didn’t say perfect in reputation.
Jesus said the pure in heart.
2. My heart is mine to manage.
2. My heart is mine to manage.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
a lot of people don’t realize that their heart like a garden is theirs to cultivate.
you can plant seeds in good soil, you can fertilize it, you can irrigate it, but if you don’t weed your heart
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
before w where born again are hearts where made of stone. all we knew was what our experience taught us. that experience is in the flesh.
we have to remember that in the born again experience we have to remember all things have passed away behold all things are made new!
16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Regard no one according to the flesh!
Regard no one according to the flesh!
16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.
I regard no one according to the flesh because in Christ we are new creations.
I regard no one according to the flesh because in Christ we are new creations.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
we cant use this verse against people we have to bear fruits worthy of repentance.
8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
so we need to give space for people to change.
we need to regard no one according to the flesh!
this is why we have levels of service for people at different levels of surrender to the Lord. service changed my life!
the commitment to a task built (and is still building) my character. at first this works on my soft skills:
Showing up.
doing a task.
doing the task right.
doing it without a parade.
doing it with out Judgement.
doing the task in Humility.
doing the tasks with gratitude
next you understand how much the task has done for you to the place where you get kind of testy about it.
the fact is that we have the ministry of reconciliation.
the fact is that we have the ministry of reconciliation.
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
remember the cross! Remember that you where in need of reconciliation once.
remember the cross! Remember that you where in need of reconciliation once.
19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
we where not imputed our trespasses.
because of that we are commited to the ministry of reconciliation.
Be reconciled to God.
Be reconciled to God.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
our redemption is in Christ.
our redemption is in Christ.
21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
3. when we where born again we where given a heart of stone and gave us a new heart. don’t let the world harden your heart again. Let your heart be pure.
3. when we where born again we where given a heart of stone and gave us a new heart. don’t let the world harden your heart again. Let your heart be pure.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
