What is a man?
Exterior (job, sports, teaching,…)
Interior (Character, Godleness, How you treat a woman, responsabilities, understanding your self)
What defines a man?
Looking in scripture where is man defined?
2 people were called Man in the Bible, more specifically The Man
Adam (The Man)
Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5
We have a choice be Adam or be like Jesus.
Adam - disobedient
Jesus - Lived out what His Father had for Him (it required sacrifice but involved an amazing life)
We can get an understanding of what it means to be a man by understanding what God expected from Adam.
Dominion over animals (Gen 1:26)
Dominion over the earth (Gen 1:26)
Work the Land to take care of it (Gen 2:15)
Free will to live in the Garden or Die(Gen 2:17)
Man is responsible for the Woman (she is the helper)
Who did God hold accountable when she ate of the forbidden fruit (We see Adam is blamed for sin coming into the world, not Eve 1 Cor 15:21-22, 45)
God made it so the man would rule over the woman
What will define us as Man?
Passiveness
Son was a walk on at Arkansas and coach agreed to give him a shot if he stuck it out for 2 years.
Getting first job
We must lead, guide, communicate. Don’t be an Adam

The Word
Loving God’s daughter/Woman
Exceling at God’s Work
Better God’s World
One Man condemned the world and One Man redeemed the world. As man we have a high calling weather you like it or not. God gave us the ability to all be leaders and I guarantee you each one of you is seen as a leader by someone. Its an honor and a privilege God only Gave to you. Don’t take it lying down but step up by being a Man of the Word, Loving/leading your wife, excelling in Work and Better others and the world around you. You can do it because God created you to do it.
