In Ezra 10:7, Shecaniah and Jehiel tell Ezra that there is hope for Israel in spite of disobedience. This reveals that they believe in a God who forgives. Do you believe in a God who is vindictive or who grants mercy?
What Do you do to relieve your sense of guilt or anguish over your actions? Do you tend to wallow in your guilt, dissociate to it, or handle it by going to God?
