Being accepted by people today is a challegne in so many ways that time would fail me to mention all of them. Yet acceptance has been a major part of human kind, during the times of Noah we find that "the Sons of God married the daughters of men." The power of one person distrupted the lives of others during that time. Yet it still happens today, when someone questions your salvation it causes problems for everyone. It will anger those that know you and cause others to judge you...Completely understanding the what the Bible says "Woe unto you when all men think well of you." But when those that don't think well of you are in the camp that you are in. I can accept the fact that my neighbor hates me but it is incomprehenible for my wife and children to hate me. If we expect to be an effective movement we must first respect the call that everyone of us has on our lives. It is not that of being preacher, evanglists, pastors, teachers, or even first ladies. It that of called to be Saints (God's Children).

My title, position, prestige, or education carries no weight when comes to my calling. Paul say to us in the Book of Phillipians "I count it but dung that I might win Christ." I believe that title, position, prestige, and education can cloud our view of our purpose. What we see today is our young ones are more focused on the gaining position, prestige, and title versus understanding the precious calling on their lives. I think it so important today to help young people understand that God must always remain the center of all that you do. Being an ex everything.....football players, sprinter, and sinner, I feel a little qualified to expound on the fact that without Jesus I would not be were I am at.

I'm not as rich as some but I'm not as poor as others. The fact that God is able to make me richer helps me to appreciate this great calling. So, today it's time to encourage ourselves and disregard what others are saying about us. Realize the church is under great attack from inside and outside forces that have crept in unawares. So, Paul writes to use in Corinthians to help us all understand that the we're more that what we may think.

Called to be Saints:

Saints: set apart ones..they're those who are have put on Christ (Rom 6:1-6).

    • Those that were once called sinners, aliens, foriegner, but are now called saints.
      • Justified by faith which produces
        • Rom 5:1 -2
          • Peace with God
          • Access to his Grace
          • Rejoicing in hope
      • Sanctified: in Christ, who is the fountain source of holiness.
        • The Spirit of God
        • Through the sacrificed body of Jesus Christ (Heb 10:10). We have nothing to with our calling. The power of our sanctification is that it only took the single offerring of Jesus Christ. So, there is nothing more that we can do, but to live a life above the reproach of sin.
            • Every area of my life and yours must be consistently in line with the expectation of God in conjunction with those that have the rule over you. It's the later part that statement that is disregarded by saints today.
        • The foreknowledge of God: the pattern by which election is made. In other words God knew and knows who will be saved and when. It is not in our power to nothing other than live and witness to a holy and sanctified life.
      • Rom 8:30: the actual call and purpose of it
      • 1 Peter 1:15: the ultimate end of our call is to be
        • Holiness: A Devine Characteristic of a Devine Calling
        • A distinctive life from othre nations
          • Obedient

Those that are called to be saints have a great responsiblity to represent God. It is important to know that there are always attacks from the outside of the body of Christ. Yet we must remain faithfully to God and support our brothers and sisters.
