Building Your Passion
Build on Your Passion
Good Morning Church and welcome visitors. We are going to continue our study on Igniting our Passion for God. If you would go ahead and turn to Romans 12:6 in your Bibles. We are going to be talking about the gifts of the Spirit this morning. And Paul does a great job explaining the gifts in this chapter and what they are used for, he states: Read
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;
Joke about French revolution (Faith, prophesy, helping) and guillotine. We are all blessed with gift and even in the instance of death, if we are quick to listen, we cannot help but use those gifts. Our gifts are different for each person but are perfectly matched to each individual’s use in God’s kingdom. They can definitely be used to build your passion for God. This first is to realize that these gifts come from the Spirit. Second, is to figure out how to use those gifts to build your passion. Finally, you can build your passion by using those gifts to inspire others in life. It all begins with understanding where our gifts come from.
Use Your Gifts
Use Your Gifts
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
