Amen, that's a good good gospel message in that song right there. I'll go ahead and turn it over to I think Pastor Ward. I think I guessed right so here he comes. Before I open prayer, I did want to mention a few things, please. Don't forget about signing up on the prayer vigil. We still have some slots open there doesn't mean if you don't sign doesn't mean you can't pray but it helps us to know that those areas are covered. We really want to bathe this whole thing in prayer. You can't change God's mind but it moves the mind of God the times and so please look at the vigil X pick out a time get involved. It's a good place to start. There's we need people to get involved. We have a shortage and a need for help with our Nursery there be a training it'll get into bullet and it's not in there yet some training the last Sunday of this month for those that are nursery workers. Now those that want to be involved in the nursery needs to be some training and those that require background checks and things we need to get the Going but we need help on those. We kind of getting into a little bit of a coming a little more difficult. We have more kids and we need help. So please be praying about that as well. Don't forget not just with our prayer but the next Sunday is a busy Sunday. We got to Sunday school kickoff. We have the Roundup Sunday. We have the Evangelist Gary Gilmore being here and then it through Wednesday and so already be praying for yourself. What God's going to say to you next week as we come to all the services Sunday Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, right? Okay. Well, I will work on that. So be praying about that the Lord will put something in your heart. Did you go God's got something for me today? So I better go show up and find out what it's going to be. Yes.

That's right. Sunday night is there is no Sunday night.

We get our pastor is a backslider. There is no Sunday evening. If you look at the calendar even says that I don't have it in front of me and I forgot but nothing new for me. Right? And so yes that goes after the lunch and everybody goes home. I don't know if we'll have further Gary give us a devotion maybe a short devotion like we did the last time and then you'll be dismissed for the day. So Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and I'll look and make sure okay the pastors going to show up so we'll be in good shape. And so you show up to I don't forget you see the list of things on her bulletins. And so please try to make all of those get involved that as our church grows. It won't continue to grow if people won't get involved whether it's nursery and Sunday school music every aspect of the ministry just because we're growing if we don't get the people to help with those Ministries it'll quit growing you'll just stop on its own and want that to happen and so so be praying about that and get with Michelle matherne if you're interested in any in as a helper or a nursery worker and then to getting training in the background checks, and we have a lot of background checks already accomplished by some but need to go through some training and the

Whatever else going to be there. I'm not even sure and so please be praying about those things. Don't forget about the American Heritage Girls the hike on Saturday and ladies get involved in American Heritage Girls help us. They're just like men get involved with our Trail Life USA the boys side of things we can do things. We don't have to have our own kids involved in it and can't get involved. I'm trying to get involved a little more and you know if I can I think my next words are so can you and so you'll find out that the more you get involved in things that don't overdo it but as we get involved Ministries and activities you want more because God bless us through it. So that's all I have for now. Is there anything I may have forgotten? Not that I'm aware of but check your bulletins and keep those things in mind. Let's pray most gracious Heavenly Father God again. We do. Thank you for today. What a great morning we had and thanks for what you're doing here. But father I pray that you work in the hearts of your people that there's not only a Zeal for your word and a Zeal for the overall Ministry the father you put his heel in the hearts of your people to help us in the Ministries within the overall Ministry whether it's in Sunday School classes or music in our Nursery. Call Ian are maintaining our facilities in our Outreach Ministries. There's something there that everyone can do but bother people see people getting it done. And I think we'll there's nothing for me. But a desire and a burden in our hearts that it doesn't matter that will move forward to whatever you put in our hearts to do and that we would be open to your will in our lives and father. We pray for next weekend the vigil to help us prepare for that and that we would fill up all those 10 there. So slots that are available and that we would bathe this whole conference in prayer as well as the Roundup Sunday in the sunday-school, kick-off Lord that we would see greater things that we can imagine. But Lord if we don't pray we might miss out on your favor and your blessing and so father do a work there that only you can do burn their hearts for every aspect including. The Outreach Ministry the American Heritage Girls in the tree trail trail Life USA the boys side Lord that we might as they hosting church and our responsibility is to help them and put it in the hearts of men that can do something to help their father. We just want to do your will for our lives. We want to be like the first century churches and that God we do all that we can do so that you can bless us and that we can grow. But if we stand still if we get stagnant if we think will someone else will take care of it. I'll Lord will I'm afraid we'll miss out on your blessing so father speak to your people. Once again, you know, what's going on in the bulletins and Lord it we would be prepared for that in our minds what you might have for us to your word to father. Thank you for everyone here tonight. And I pray that the fellowship time after this service the ice cream Fellowship will be sweet and other than just the flavor the ice cream that will enjoy one another's company in Fellowship that we would grow closer together as we grow near to you until father. I pray you would bless the services the remainder of the song service, especially the preaching of your word be with Pastor Walker as he preaches the Where did he would give and use only those words that you would have him to preach? You know what we need because we're needy people speak to us tonight. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Kind of a good follow-up thought of that. Just came to my mind as I was thinking through that think about 2nd Corinthians 5:14 For the Love of Christ constraineth us somewhat ties into the next song or going to sing here. So I think about that in terms of your own service to the Lord. They should be that you're motivated because of what Christ has done for you. Let's sing one more song as we stand again number for a thing about our great savior will sing all those verses their number 49

Got7 helping you host.

Amen, thank God for that thought you may be seated. I'll just throw a quick little plug which kind of ties into the special that I'm about to do. I've already mentioned this to our string students, but I've decided I'm going to be reserving the third Sunday night of every month for those who want to do things kind of like what I'm about to do. If you have an instrument that you play piano strings if you play strings they've already heard that for me if you play any other instrument,

You can get a little bit creative to piano duet, you know have their there's plenty of things that people can do but it's all about using your talents for the Lord and I encourage people to use those talents and to be trained up in House of God to be able to do that. So without further Ado, I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to guess I can say to my own horn, but praise the Lord for The Old Rugged Cross.

Write thank you. Mr. Mike. What a blessing. Tremendous that's there's my soul. I don't know about you, but it's theirs my soul. I think about the truth to that song The Old Rugged Cross. That's where it all happened. Nice theme in the music we've had tonight. What a message that's already been preached to us through the songs. We sang when I see the blood. Blessed Redeemer precious that's one of my favorites. By the way. I love just the tune in the melody and the message should that song What A Blessed Redeemer a great savior? We have everything just kind of already laid in order for us here tonight as we think about the service that the priest had to do in the Old Testament. We continue our look here at the pictures of Grace that we see in the offerings of Leviticus and we're winding it down. There's only two more to go for keeping track of you know that I'm coming up to number for here now and that's what we'll look at tonight and it corresponds well with Leviticus 4 and so that's where we'll be. I want to begin reading and Leviticus chapter number 6 though and will come back to chapter 4 and you can just follow along there as we consider the sin offering tonight Leviticus chapter number 6 A 24 the scriptures record for us and the Lord spake unto Moses saying speak of the Aaron and to his son's saying this is the law of the sin offering in the place where the burnt offering is killed. Shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord. It is most holy. Verse 26 of Leviticus 6 says the priest that offer it offers it for send she'll eat it in the Holy Place shall it be eating in the court of the Tabernacle of the congregation whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon Any Garment Thou shalt wash that we're on it was Spinx sprinkled in the Holy place. But the Earthen vessel where in it is sodden she'll be broken and if it be sudden and a Brazen pot it shall be both scoured and rinsed in water. All the males among the priests shall eat their of it is most holy. And no scent offering we're of any of the blood is brought into the Tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile with all in the Holy Place. Shall it be eating it shall be burned in the fire? Let's pray Lord. I pray that you will guard my tongue tonight is James reminds us teaching is a tremendous responsibility and we don't take this lightly Lord to stand behind. The sacred desk is truly a privilege but it also comes with a great necessity to have sobriety in what's said and done from behind this desk Lord things that we do tonight the things that we discuss our holy things we look at the pictures in the Old Testament as New Testament Believers, and we thank you Lord for what we can see in our Saviour to these pictures of Grace help me to do justice to the name of Jesus Christ tonight. May he be seen above all Lord if we walk away from tonight with a religious observance and that's all we have. I'll have missed the mark greatly the Lord if we walk away from here tonight seeing Jesus I'll count myself to have succeeded and I can only do that. If you help Lord help us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our savior and I'll thank you for informing us into His Image in Jesus name we pray and all God's people said. Amen, just some thoughts here as we're getting ready for I where we're going tonight. I've been working as a past hours on making some treats for tonight. I hope that you enjoy those. I'm looking forward to that. And so the longer I preach the longer it gets to freeze. Right. It's so hot outside and I'm freezing today. You'll get that in a minute when you're thinking about turning ice cream cuz there's a comes the stage we have to freeze it. But yeah, I've been freezing all day long. It's it's been roasting and I've been freezing all day long. I'm looking forward to that but you know as I've been able to do that experience again, some people that have asked me did you do that a lot? No, I don't do it a lot. It takes a lot to do it the way that it's done. We did it here tonight for you. But good things take time. You know, we live in a culture that microwave it's fast you can get it anywhere and I think preaching can be a lot like that too sometimes and as long as I I'm privileged to serve in the ministry, I want to take the time necessary to work with the ingredients. God gives us and follow the recipe of the book here and take the time to bring something of substance and something that can spiritually nourish it one of the tasks of a Preacher is to feed the flock of God and in so I don't get that myself. I gather from the chief Shepherd, but I want to be able to share that and I want you to be able to leave from the services here saying, you know, that was good that was refreshing. I feel sick. Virtually stronger. I feel nourished I can face the world a little better now and I see a little bit more about my savior and I know a little bit more about Jesus from having spent time in the word. So thank you search family for the kindness to display week after week to come come and put up with somebody like me. I wouldn't be able to sit there and listen to be as long as you do. I don't know how you do it. But thank thank God that you know, it works but hopefully you'll be able to taste some of the fruit of the labor of these past hours as I sat there today, you know mulling over some notes and things that will look at here in a moment. I was listening to that thing turning I was thankful for electricity in Motors in power because I didn't have to do this. I've done that before and I come in and I've got jelly for hearts. It's great. If you've ever turn for a long time cranking that thing takes a lot of effort it so we can we can you know expedite things we used tools. You know, I use Logos Bible software. I use other things to expedite my study time and it kind of mechanical eyes has some What's a bit but you cannot negate the Personal Touch every recipes different at every touch on on the syrup. That's Frozen has a different a different test style to it. And so really it ties into a lot as I sat there and listened to the thing just go round and round it. Got to one point where brother Mike it's there to make it a rhythm and I went back to mr. Nelson's class in astronomy. Yeah, he knows it's kind of an inside thing here, but we talked about the solar system in that class and how the solar system is part of the musical instruments that make music to God and he created everything to do that. And as I sat there listening to that thing go around and then it would just right on time. You know, just keep that Rhythm every time you think about the planets go around the Sun just keeping that really the music of creation, you know, God created a beautiful saying here and it Praises him and it isn't like the devil to get in there and just turn all that upside down and twist it and bring iniquity in to it shame on the devil for taking something. So beautiful and twisting it into things that are worldly and carnal and things that really Terrace down rather than build us up good music it is it is vital to the soul. It was Wesley used to say give me a Bible in him and that's all I need and we'll go have church. Amen. And so let's not forget the place that music plays some of what we talked about hear you think about every time that thing going around and turning its creating something that's going to bring pleasure and it's delicious and I thought about what we've been talking about on Sunday mornings, even with the Judgment that's coming to this world and as everything continues on course, we just need to trust God that he's working his plan that each time. It comes around the Dasher inside there is turning what's what's inside and it is mixing all of that up. And you know, you'll know it's done when the thing stops because he can't turn a mortgage Solo frozen in there. I get so hard at that Dasher just stops and that's when you know the ice cream. How are we going to know when this whole world's done and ready for Jesus to transform it? It'll be done when the father says and so it just I'm just sharing this with you a little private time there. Yeah, I was talking to take my brother and he's so what were you doing last night at 1:30? I said I was praying I was it was a prayerful time for me to be able to meditate and think about these things and and then this afternoon to just have these object lessons good things take time. Just wait on the Lord. He's working on something and it's going to be beautiful. It's going to bring him praise part of the ingredients of that goes back to the Old Testament. It goes back to the pictures that we seen our savior. The sin offering is the first of acquired offerings. You don't see the word volitional anywhere connected to this offering its require the sin offering the the trespass offering. Neither of these are voluntary. God gave me instructions for them to the children of Israel. The first of of three offerings was desired but not demanded the last two were compulsory. So you have the optional ones the volitional ones, but then you have the ones that cannot be skipped. These are not volitional the first three offerings were by choice the last to die command. So we look here tonight at the ones that were commanded the necessity for the scent offering is found really in the nature of the center. I'll preach to the choir you all know that we've sinned and come short of the glory of God, but man and his sin is separated from God. He is under condemnation of death. And death is the result of sin. It's a tragic thing. This happen and this is forcefully brought out in scriptures like Ezekiel 18:4. Listen to what that verse says, the prophet of God said the soul that sinneth it shall die. the soul you're not going to die for somebody else to send you going to die for your own since the soul that sinneth it shall. Romans 5:12. If you want the New Testament comparison to that posted it this way where 4S by one man sin entered the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned when we studied through this. I looked at that word and it really came to life in a way. I've never seen it before wherefore as by one as by one man. Send entered the world, you know sin Creeps in. Send snuck in because Adam he disobeyed God. I don't think he could fully understand all of the consequences that would happen. But notice what Paul goes on to say he says and death by sin where for death passed upon all men. Like wow didn't see this coming. We're just going to cuddle said we're just going to play with sin. It's a little thing you James described it as a little baby and it's cute we cuddle and he personified sin and lust that way in chapter 1 the Winston grows up and fully matures James correlates with Polly says it brings forth death. She wouldn't see that part. We can play with play with Sam when it's cute and we can cuddle it but always it's bringing death and it's out to kill us and we need to be killing Center. It'll be killing us as your curtains used to preach so often that we get away from mortification of send the body. Paul said it that way death passed upon all men for the role of sin because man is a sinner he's under the sentence of future death and is presently already dead in trespasses and sins Ephesians 2 is clear on that. Unfit we're unable. The presence of a Thrice holy God because of our sinful nature. This is the problem. Because we need to be in God's presence. God wants us in his presence but to get there we cannot get there in the state that we are in in the state of sin. Run set in order to have access to God something has to be done about our sin. You have to hear me on that and we have a community that needs to understand that. God help us to be a light to not condone things and and to be able to call send what it is. None of us are above this. Each. One of us is susceptible. No one is immune from sin and death. Everyone has to face this but Jesus can provide help for those that'll turned him in faith. The barrier of sand must be taken away all the way to God will remain forever block. Think about that people go through the motions in and maybe they find something that works for them temporarily for a little while and they get past one problem to get on to the next problem, but they never find the one true solution. They never find Jesus and all of his glory and all of his magnificence and they continued through this miserable existence of gaining more and more tomorrow every year every week that goes by things happen and it gets worse and worse and we just pile sorrow upon sorrow upon sorrow and this world has no answers that has nothing to offer but She says come on to me. All ye that Labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn of me from meek and lowly in heart. We thought Moses was the meekest man in the Bible calls him that he'll make is our Jesus. He came as was prophesied by Moses to fulfill this what the second Adam would fulfill the send offering is prophetic of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary Hebrews chapter 10 verses 5 through 9. We're told that Jesus took away the first animal offerings percent. They might establish the second offering of himself. He did it. He is everything that's required to open the way back to God. What a picture we have in the Sin offering he made the way for us where there was. No way everything that was required. Jesus did it. He performed all that the offerings entail all of these offerings are summed up in our Savior Jesus Christ. What a wonderful savior Blessed Redeemer precious Redeemer. Nobody can do for me what Jesus did All of this work the Old Testament is a picture that we are we are weak in the flesh and Jesus was made weak in the flesh for us. In Romans 8:3 you can compare that but but what made the law week through the flash was the flash of the animals. It couldn't bare arse in nature. Not the way Jesus did its weak in that regard. The law was strengthened. It was satisfied In the Flesh of Jesus Christ Who Bore our human nature and it's through our faith in Jesus Christ the blood of his cross. He died in our place as though we were us for us. He bore our sins in his own body on the tree. The scripture says in his our faith in him the way to God must be with the sin offering and that sent offering is with Jesus Christ, or we'll never get to will never get back to God. Unless we come through Jesus without the atonement without propitiation full payment force in there is there there is no access it's closed off and you think about access to me. We have pretty strict custom rules. I remember coming back from the Philippines last year when covered was about to shut everything down and and I couldn't get through customs. I stopped me and I was like humping I got to get home. I just spent 13 hours and soul. My family is here and I'm about to get you know stuck in Vancouver about to get stuck in Canada. I got to get home and they wouldn't let me through. I had no access, you know, why a piece of fruit Yeah, but that would together huh back in the garden. Yeah, I carry around these Apple things women use, you know, Steve Jobs took a bite out of that before he gave us to gave it to a skinny piece of fruit. Kept me from getting here. Well, I used it as a sermon illustration. There you go. The Lord used it not it was a piece of fruit because it hadn't been inspected by the FDA are they couldn't you know, they couldn't take the chance on me bringing some kind of bugs back that I didn't even know where in that apple. Is an apple. Just just that can gain access. Do you realize how great your sin is before God and how contaminated we are before? He cannot allow centers into his holy presence. The way is barred their there is no access and if you think the u.s. Customs agents are tough. What about those cherubim with the flaming swords, huh? Not going to go against them. sin offering Jesus felt the compulsion of that on the cross of calvary. This was something that he had to do he had to come to pay for our sins as its sole purpose for which he came to the world. I've came to do my father's will. Father-to-be that will let this cup pass for me nevertheless. I was our savior. And he sweated so or drops of blood there in the garden when he prayed in the great stress that he was under the pressure and his human physical body and yet Our Savior was strong enough to go all the way to the top of that Hill strong enough. To converse with two thieves there on either side of him hanging for their sins. One of them recognized that he's the son of God. He's righteous. We deserve our punishment, but he he's an innocent man. It is innocence as a tested all throughout his mockery of a trial. And yet he laid down his life. He went willingly. This was the compulsion that moved our savior because that's Hebrew says he endured the cross despising the shame for the joy that was set before him that Joy's you and me that Joy is those who will put their faith in him that we can be with him for all eternity. A Matthew 1621 Jesus told his disciples how he must needs go to Jerusalem. You must go into Jerusalem suffer many things of the elders the chief priests and scribes and be killed and raised again the third day and how many times did Jesus prophesied his own death and they missed it all but one lady you've read that story right? She got it. She put the pieces together with nobody else could thank God for Godly ladies that have that kind of intuition a man that I can see things that us guys miss a lot of times cuz we're just caught in the moment, you know, where mechanical in a lot of ways and we're we're taking care of problems will fix this. I'll take my sword Lord and I'll just get in Chappel dam for his head Miss take off his ear problem solvers. Thank God for these women that they get moved in. This lady comes and breaks her Alabaster Box over the Lord anoint him why Jesus told his disciples. It's for my dad you guys missed it. You just messed it. She got it. He said he told him I'm going to suffer. I'm going to be killed, but I'm going to be raised again the third day prophecy what Jesus said came true? He's a prophet of all profits know he's more than profit. Is the Son of God is the son of man Jesus Christ bearing the vileness of our simple nature. Theologically. I can't figure all of this out. Okay. I'm just going to be upfront with you. I don't have it all figured out on how God can do this in the flash. I don't understand all the ins and outs. I just have to take what the scriptures take and believe them that something happened to our Savior when he was on that tree that all my sins were transferred to him. You know, I might not understand all the ins and outs when I go to the bank and somebody takes million dollars and puts it to my account. The teller just does the work behind the scenes there. I may not see all of that. I may not see what has to happen in the back room of the ball, but you know it it's all going on. Amputation is happening and think one thing is imputed to another my sins were imputed upon Christ and his righteousness was imputed upon me. I can explain that God. I don't deserve it. But praise God hallelujah. What a savior What A Savior? Jesus died for sin. Because he was the centerpiece of spotless savior. He's the unblemished Lamb of God his offering for sin doesn't tell us what Jesus was but what he became. The word is became in the scriptures. 2nd Corinthians 5:21 it says for he has made him to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made or become the righteousness of God in him. Again, that's something that I can't explain to you in human terms. It is something that only God can do and he did God manifests in the flesh when Jesus was made sin for us this this was an illegal since the send that he bore was not his own. He bore our sins on that tree. He stood as our representative before the law and he bore the Gilda belong to you and me you did that out of love as we heard this morning the love. He so loved that he gave so notice with me that sometimes we sent through ignorance first off tonight notice the scent of ignorance in chapter for me. Make sure I give you a ride verse first number to 4:2 speak unto the children of Israel saying if a soul shall send through the next word ignorance against any of The Commandments of the Lord or Jehovah, they're all caps concerning things which ought not to be done. Well, I think we could just take that whole phrase right there made it if you want to go to slogan, maybe we need some Billboards that just say things that ought not to be done running people off the road around here in Denver driving over to the speed limit like crazily. I'm not talking about the little space of Grace that we give each other sometimes 55 miles an hour or so. I'm talking about people doing 15 and 20 mi over the major moving violations, by the way. And people just I mean even on the way here, I couldn't believe it. That was like I was standing still just person after person. I'm like man. I'm going to get ran over. Things that ought not to be done how many things are not to be done. Well, it's specified in the law. All the signs are there. I mean, it's clear. You're only supposed to go this fast. It's specified but we just got to do some things. We are not do sometimes doing now. I'm just as guilty as the next person. Not saying that I never said that I never speed but we do need to be conscious of those things and safety the other seeing others around us. It's important if a soul shall send through ignorance against any of the commands of the Lord. How many people do you think that are speeding actually are doing it ignorantly? Yeah, that's not ignorance. Well, I'll just leave that right there. I better not say any more. Yes here don't let that throw you off today. We're not talking about whether acento be committed or not that you might understand that the sense of if has since the soul will send just not saying if you will because everyone has send there's no one that escapes that man is axillary. He may not know that he's a sinner but that doesn't change the fact that he has a son of Adam has a sinful nature. He is born with simple Tendencies and they follow him all the days of his life. We never stop being centers. Not until glorification that day is coming Hallelujah when we're fully transformed. everyday habits that we have their Mark was simple thoughts simple expression sin is the natural expression of sinful nature 1st Kings chapter 8 verse 46 the last half of that verse we're told there is no man that sent us not so that last person know you might have knocked on their door and they said, oh, I'm not a center. Maybe that's a good burst to keep in your soul winning Arsenal. There is no man that said it's not. I think you're pretty good person. Huh not accorded that verse Psalm 51:5 David David remind us we came into the world as Sinners and send did my mother can see no one is excluded from the word sent because Paul tells us in Romans 3:23 all have sinned and come short or missed the mark come short of the glory of God. The glory think about that Adam was created with a certain glory in the garden and he had fellowship with the Lord everyday and Adam through his Saint know he was created in the image of God you read chapter 5 and you find out every child of atom is born under the image of Adam not in the image of God. We bear the image of a demard sinful. Why because he fell short of the glory and everyone of us have missed the mark sent to see what Jesus does he comes and asks the second Adam he restores what was lost in the original creation We glorify God through Jesus Christ, we can attain we can hit that Mark again. Not on our own we can hit that Mark through Jesus Christ man's not a center because he commits and he commits sin because he's a center you've heard preachers say that before and you're hearing me say it again tonight. It's true because it's in our nature.

What do the word ignorance maybe you want to mark that work? Draw attention to that word and verse two because this word is fundamental to our understanding of sinful acts ignorance and the importance of the idea is reinforced by a four-fold repetition something When God says it wants when he says it twice we better listen, what about three and four times? Pretty important, I think. The sense of ignorance are those which have been committed without a consciousness of wrongdoing. I didn't even know it was done in ignorance. It didn't change the fact of the send it it's still just as much of a Sten. But those who did it didn't realize that it was wrong. Well, there's Grace for that right? There's some some leeway that we can give this surely. There's a way that we can use skirt around things and then we can find loopholes in the law. Alright, we can just Overlook these things. Try that before the bar next time try that before the judge and see how far you get in a broken human system. You might actually make it quite far. Actually you could get away with a lot especially if you pay off the judge. But if we're honest. Ignorance of the law does not excuse our guilt. And I've talked to me people that fail to understand that. How burdensome is this? I mean if you go down to the Capitol visits down there quite a bit during session especially and you look on all the shelves and then I'm afraid to go down there this next session after what they did last time. You see on the shelves. They've got volumes and volumes and volumes. of state law

I'd like to be able to tell you I've read all of it.

I think I think it would take me the rest of my life just to figure out all the minutiae that's recorded in there. And then you know, that's going to take me away from getting into this law a lot. So I understand my calling and where my place is but something's written in there. It doesn't change the fact that they could pursue me to the full extent of the law if I'm in violation of something in there. Do you understand that? I hope that you do. Because this is going to shape the future of our country. Are the things that they're putting in place now, we may not see repercussions for years, but when they're ready to execute it and track it down and follow it to the full extent. You mark it down they will we're seeing them do it another places. And I don't want to get into too much of that.

How much is healthier I wonder even as America's I don't know why I couldn't track this down or don't have hard fast data for you. I haven't researched it to the full extent but someone told me recently that there's enough laws across the country federal and state and Community level and in all of that getting down to where we live that it makes probably 8 out of 10 of us in America a felon. I don't know. I can't prove the text. But I tend to believe that is true ignorance. How many of us are walking around doing things that we don't even know just because it's out of fingers had something in here for an allowance for those kind of things to be dealt with so we taken care of. They didn't know that it was a violation. It didn't change that. It was a violation of God's law and I do want to make that distinction. I'm not talking about man's law anymore. I'm talking about God's law he made a way he made a provision. And we see this. Reinforced in the passage were looking at you think about Paul and his testimony. He was a sinner who did many hurtful things and he'll be the first to tell us he does in 1st Timothy 1:13. He confessed that he did it, but he might be forgiven for for what he had done. He did it. Ignorant Leann Dunn believe those were his words. I didn't know what I was doing when I was persecuting the church like I was God help our leaders.

There might come a day where they feel pulse intimate. I didn't know that it was going to do that much damage. Yeah, I just I was given this law which we pass this on the books. We thought it was for a good purpose. We wrote it down. We got it in statute. I had no idea. The damage that was going to do to God's people. I wonder I don't want to stand before that bar and give an account. Support I would pray for our leaders. They need especially are good Godly leaders, they need wisdom every day because I mean I didn't the busyness of everything down there. You get Soul. So many bill of goods people come in there. Like all this will be great. We can do this and it's another thing on the books and another thing on the books and before long you couple one with another and everybody's guilty. And it continues to erode the foundation of freedom and freedom is not license license to do whatever you want. Freedom is Liberty to do what's right. and I have a conscience about that but without morals, you know, we're in trouble Jesus prayed father forgive them for they

ignorance father forgive them Peter sermon on Pentecost he told him it and we were there this morning Pastor Ward. I look at that sermon and a red Peters preaching there and I noticed he started out with his passage and Joel and then he brought her the truth, but he told Israel. He said you did it ignorantly through unbelief those repeaters words. He called him out on Is man of Courage made of boldness who wasn't afraid to show somebody hate you messed up big-time when you killed Jesus when you crucified the Son of God, you did it in currently in unbelief and notice. I was kind of a q-and-a there at the end. What must we do? They were pricked in their heart. There's a difference between being prick in your heart being cut to the heart being cut to the heart comes when they Stone Steven later and they put him to death being pricked in the heart that is being sensitive to your pain. And even if it's in unbelief, you did ignorantly in unbelief.

You did in ignorance. He says as did also your rulers acts 3:17, if you want the reference there for that verse 1st Corinthians. 2:8 Paul said that if the princes of the world had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord Of Glory if they had known what they were doing. They would have done it. It would have crucified the Lord Of Glory there is ignorance about sin because Satan were told in another letter Paul has blinded the minds of people, you know, that's his business. That's what he does. He likes to have blinders on people lest. They should behold the light of the Glorious gospel of Christ.

Others would try to remove the Simplicity of that. Thank you Pastor wood again as this morning pulling out the Simplicity of Salvation the Simplicity of just believing on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

So they they have their minds blinded. They can't see how awful sin is. They can't see their need for Redemption. They're dead and trespasses and Sans they need divine intervention. And as a consequence, they just continue blundering blindly on their way headed to a Chrysler C ternatea headed to a place called hell and they're just LED like sheep to the slaughter.

blunt They'll never know it till it hits him and it'll be too late. It will be too late. never conscious Of the consequences of their sin, then it has barred access. to the presence of God, the only way that sin can be dealt with Is according to Divine knowledge God is the one who has to intervene in a person's life in everything that is involved in sin. how to remedy that Do you think God's Mission enough to be able to figure out how to get it back? Right? I'm not I'm not that smart. But God had a plan even from eternity past you had plan.

We need to think about his involvement. The sacrifice for sins of ignorance we're looking at here in verse number to refine you have the loving heart of Christ cannot be missed if we turn to a passage like Hebrews 5 to compare that you see the heart of Christ that says who can have compassion. I love this who can have compassion on me who can have compassion on bless you who can have compassion on the ignorant. Yeah, I just called myself ignorant. He had compassion on me. How many times did the gospel come before me as a young man, but it wasn't until I finally and fully realize that my son was going to land me in hell away from God and he would have been just to send me there for all eternity and he would have been right to do it. In fact, there was no other way around it, but for him to do that and it broke me it broke me, and I said Lord, I I can't be in your presence and it's pretty lonely without you in my life. and I don't know how he did it but a transaction was made and I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ a preacher preach than and I came in and I prayed and I trusted Christ that night and he washed my sins away and I got up and I felt Like I could just blow it out of the room. I don't even know how one of down at the altar but I did. God was very involved in getting me there that night to hear the word through his messenger so that I could trust Jesus and find heaven. You see I was barred from access and it was all through ignorance what Jesus had compassion on the ignorant. Jesus is the center offering for the sins of ignorance and he's available. Anybody that would wish can come to Jesus and say Lord. I didn't even know. But would you please forgive me? Jesus will have compassion on anybody that comes.

In him you shall know the truth, and he promised the truth shall make you free. It'll set you free John 8 32 So we will continue on here and we look back at verse number one and I just throw out these words the Lord spake unto Moses. Is it kind of one of those good-news-bad-news things, but you get the bad news first. The bad news is I just took some moments to explain to you how tragic the news is. Don't rush this office tripe. We hear it often. We might become immune to hearing and thinking about how our sin has separated from God. That's the bad news, but notice it was the Lord that spoke unto Moses and then Moses took the message to the people. The message from Moses. Therefore was a message from God Moses was a man, but he bore God's message and it was a message from the word of God.

Heavenly instructions came through a human instrument

It was only a man just Moses and Moses was sinless, right? Murdering Moses was sinless right now. buried in Egyptian in the sand and hit him in and then this is the man that said his will on and say I want you to go leave my people and and I'm going to set him free Moses. I can't go back there spent 40 years for decades. Thank God he followed the will of the Lord for him and just simply obeyed and went I love reading that passage because it doesn't show Moses me. He would say there was a back-and-forth, but when it came down to it mostly went and then we talked to Aaron Aaron just went with him. It is rather simple in that regard. But what a blessing because he bore the message of God. He's just a human instrument. He's just a man, but what he has to say is divinely dictated Moses repeated what had been revealed and his report was nothing less than a holy announcement is the bad news, but there's good news, too. The bad news, but you can't really appreciate the good news until you really understand the bad news. Can you? And we've had some bad news good news lately bad news. We have lot of trouble happening in Afghanistan other places too bad news, but there's good news to how many have been rescued. How many have been brought out many more still need it but there's good news too with the bad news and I wish some of our Outlets would understand that Dynamic a little better. Anyway, I'll leave that for another time the word of God carries a great responsibility to those that hear it and we need to be careful how we listen to be here and do her shame says God's going to call us to account for our responses to his word. First Thessalonians call commended the church on how they had received the words of them Paul and his companions. They received it not as it was the words of men but as it is in truth the word of God. And that's what turned him from the idols to serve the living and true God because they believed the message as it came from Heaven on high. I think with all the skepticism that surrounds us today and how many have questions about things and end tragically how many Christians and others that maybe aren't Christians have ruined the testimony of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. There's some real struggles to overcome with people. It takes time sometimes to develop a relationship there used to be a day. Maybe you hear the stories of you know decades ago when you knock on somebody's door, they be open that invite you in for coffee or tea and and you can sit in the front room there and in a lot of houses had those front rooms and and if somebody came by it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It was a visitor coming and who's this in and preachers could go and have a warm reception and come on in out of the cold. I think it's been years since anybody asked me to come in out of the cold, but you know that's been a good indicator for me as a pastor to know. Okay, these folks are ready to listen a little bit more and and the time to to shovel we have down their throat is not upon us. We need to establish relationships. That's why I think it's important we go back, you know, we knock on somebody's door. We want to get them the gospel. We could be zealous about that. Let's leave tracks. Let's leave anything that we can point them. But let's follow up and touch them personally. Let's not leave them hanging with, you know, a little piece of literature that they could take or leave. Let's have a person represented with that that can build a relationship and word of mouth is powerful you sit down and you start taking this person through the scriptures and in the light bulb turns on and they say wow, there is a church in my town that loves me. There is a pastor that cares there is a people that will pray with it. There's a savior that loves me. There's a Jesus that died for me. And by God's grace, it just might come to place their face in the same Jesus that we believe in teach and preach. And have their sins washed away Moses was the messenger of God and God used him to convey his word to the people. And we see a picture of that and how the Holy Spirit works today, I believe but this was special for Moses because Peter gives us the testimony about how this happened in in in the Bible. It was holy man of God that spake as they were, you know, the next part moved by the word a sparrow. It means to bring along to carry there. They were carried Along by the holy spirit of God. You got dust this and gives us Divine appointments sometimes and we have all of the inspired scripture right here. We have everything we need to be able to help somebody find who God is and who Jesus is but let's follow the moving in the leading of the Holy Spirit as he opens doors and puts people in our path. We can go to them with the hope the message that Jesus Christ is our sin offering and he has taken away our sins.

No, I'm out of time.

So I won't belabor things but the next thing that I had on the agenda to discuss with you was about bringing send out into the light, you know, it's one thing to talk about a world and sin and bearing the message of the gospel and I'm not going to really unpack a lot of this. I just want to put the seat. In your mind and have you chew on it. Okay, send likes to hide in the dark.

And did you know that Sam likes to hide in the dark in our church that I'm not aware of anything? Okay, so please don't take this the wrong way. Nothing's been brought to my attention, but I just know how the devil works because I just encourage you let's follow the pattern of scripture and if something smells a little funny or or or walks a little different or just kind of has some Flags about it. Maybe we can't put her finger quite on it. Let's just be slow slow to move ahead on things that that we might rush headlong into something that will regret later and say who I didn't know. I didn't know it was going to bring that much damage with to listen to the Holy Spirit and a still Small Voice and then by all means let's be quick to bring things out into the light. And do it in love Foster that kind of environment here. I'm talking to the church family how many I wonder have things in the dark that I need help with? They need somebody that can help them. You know, at least navigate the way forward. You don't have to have all the answers but the two are better than one they have a good reward for their labor. But I wonder how many hesitate to to Really share what they're struggling with because well if they do that then you know, everybody in the church is going to Why do we can sit here and say we don't worry about what everybody else thinks easier said than done?

What is it that maybe needs to be brought out into the light in a hole somewhere. I'm not talking about airing out dirty laundry. But we see provision for this in the passage. Look at verse 13 again. I just want you to think about this and meditate on it the words here in the last part of ourselves in the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly. Do you see that phrase?

I'm going to ask you to work together and pass toward we might have some messes with people get serious about doing this the first John's still in the Bible. Can I just tell you that from the Pastoral staff at least we can't speak for everybody in the church, but Pastor Ward and I were on the same page with everything and we're locking arms together in this and we know the devil wants to divide and conquer we're not going to let him we're going to stand toe-to-toe and we're going to we're going to serve the Lord together. And I know that I speak for him when I say this if there's anything you got to hear me now if there is anything that's dark. That you need help with please. Please know that our door is open. And we will treat every matter that approaches us with the greatest sobriety and sensitivity. We are mandatory reporter. So if you tell us that you've broken the law we have to expose some of that but as much as is in us, we will honor confidentiality. We will help you in any way we can if we don't have the answer we will try to pursue someone who does have some semblance of an answer. But mostly we want you to find the solution that Christ can be. What is it that's hindering you from taking that next step forward. Let's not do things hidden from the eyes of the congregation, you know the church at Corinth tried to do that and they got in serious trouble for it. Cuz that this guy that was sleeping with his what is his dad's wife, you know, and that seems to be the norm anymore in our society makes me sick to think about stuff like that but this stuff is happening all over the place. And again, I don't mean I'm not saying I hear that was Corinth that was the church at Corinth and Paul said you need to deal with that. Don't leave that stuff in the dark. Let's bring it out because send likes to hide in the dark and that's where does its most damage but if we drag it out kicking and screaming out into the bright light of God who is light and in him is no Darkness at all. And you know what that thing will do it'll drive it will wither and it will it will have to disappear because it cannot stay in the presence of guts. Why don't you just come to the light? Get it all out and put it under the blood of Christ find forgiveness find healing and I promise you passed award and I as much as humanely as possible in us. It will not change how we think about you. It will not change how we look at you in any way every time you come to church we're going to have the same love and compassion towards you that I would hope that you would have to me and to him if we had something you do. The ministry can be a pretty lonely Place. Sometimes if we had something that we need to share that we would be able to find someone spiritual enough in our congregation that we could sit down with over coffee and say I need prayer. And we're not exempt either. It's a two-way street. So I'm just going to leave that right there. breaking God's word brings condemnation You see it bars access to God it breaks Fellowship, but I'm thankful that we have a sin offering. And it's not the sin offering of Leviticus here in the old priesthood. It is too precious and spotless blood of Jesus Christ that washes away all our sin. Let's be witnesses to that. Let's testify to that unless bear that message of Hope to everybody around here and say hey come here what Jesus did for me? Let me tell you what Jesus did for me cuz he can do it for you to let's pray Lord. We thank you for your blessings. You word has been precious to us tonight. We think about the blood that brings forgiveness.

I don't know why you would come and shed your blood for somebody like me. Maybe I think of some of our Noble soldiers that have laid down their life's blood to try to save somebody else recently in

others are struggling right now with things that are going on Lord. I just pray that that the blood would be what we need tonight and it'll be forgiven as the passage says we don't have to think about being forgiving Lord. This text says we're forgiven. It's a matter of certainty before you and it can be all washed. It can all be forgiven and we can walk in freedom and liberty. There's no doubt about your forgiveness.

Lord give us a peace in our heart in the assurance.

That we have forgiveness through Jesus Christ. It's about eyes are closed panels playing if you'd like to take some time to pray the the stairs are open here. You can pray that your seat let stand quietly to our feet with their heads bowed if you need to do business with God now is the time. Get it under the blood bring it out don't walk away and and keep it hidden in the darkness. Let's bring it out for what it is. And let's trust God. He'll forgive he's not going to look at us any different here. He knows. He knows before we come he sees it and it's not going to change how he sees us. He still going to love us just as much and he understands he knows we're just dust we're made of clay. And he's my provision you come through Jesus and you leave here tonight different than when you came you can leave here lighter, you can leave here forgiven. You can leave here trusting trusting cheese. Christians are praying won't you come tonight?

Let's join the chorus, you know that song.

Aren't you thankful for Jesus Christ and his shed blood?
