It is hard to teach spiritual things to spiritually dull people
Long-time believers should be teaching others
They are babies who need milk & can’t handle solid food
They keep forgetting basic things about salvation
We should know the difference between right and wrong
Fundamental basics of faith such as, repentance, baptism, laying hands, resurrection, & judgment.
There is no sacrifice left for those who reject Jesus’ sacrifice.

Abraham tithed to Melchizedek (and so did all of his descendants, so to speak)
If Melchizedek was a priest who wasn’t a Levite, so can Jesus who came from Judah’s Tribe

Summary
We are not alone. God has provided a way to be made right with him. This plan was accomplished in the priesthood. The thing is, all priests are sinners, so they have to sacrifice an animal for themselves too. This allows the priest to sympathize with the common sinner. However, Jesus is a better priest because he didn’t sin. Because Jesus subjected himself to suffering as a sacrifice, God promoted him to High Priest, intercessor for all God’s people.
