Christmas Is For The Poor Young Couple Luke 2:1-7

No family and apparently no friends

No lodging - probably poor and tired

There were no balloons or signs in the front yard

Christmas Is For The Disenfranchised Luke 2:8

The shepherds were marginalized

Shepherds were unclean and constantly dirty

Shepherds could not be trusted

Christmas Is For The Old & Faithful

The Magi were neither culturally or religiously related
