Psalm 32:1-6

Don’t be Silent

We have a natural tendency to hide our sins.

Hiding sin will always involve lying.

Arrogance about our sin is the enemy of blessing.

vs 3-4 remind us that there are consequences for holding on to our sin.

Confession

We must come out of hiding and stop our ridiculous attempts to cover our sin.

Confession means we agree with God and accept responsibility.

It’s important that our confession be to God.

We must humble ourselves and truly confess our sins.

Forgiveness

We can’t be silent and must confess because forgiveness is on the other side of that.

Our forgiveness comes at a great cost (Ephesians 1:7).

There’s no greater happiness than to be on the receiving end of forgiveness.

Don’t wait to experience this blessing.
