If you want to get a little study time, with the guys be there at the Baptist Church at 10 in the morning on Tuesday. And then on Wednesday, we have a Bible study here. We're working on David. And so, please join us. It's good times around God's word. Let's pray.

Our precious father are Mighty God, who is the Everlasting one? That great Creator. How awesome you are? And how worthy of our worship and praise our honor and glory is to you the mighty one. And so father, as we gather together to Worship You may you bless us richly as we commune together to honor you. We ask that your presence be here in power and strength and that you would touch each of our hearts this day in Jesus name. Amen.

On Jordan's stormy Banks. I stand and you can't even spend all those why I text.

I can read.

I am back.

When I reach that happy place.

The Promised Land.

I am Bound for the promised land. I'm

Isn't that a great thought that we have an eternity to look forward to? We're not to going to be held in this decrepit old body for very long. We're going to be able to launch into eternity one of these days. Are reading this morning is taken from second Samuel 24, verses, 1 through 4.

It says, again, the anger of the Lord burned against Israel and incited David against them saying, go and take a census of Israel and Judah. And so the Sing King said to joab and the Army commanders with him. Go throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and enroll the fighting man, so that I may know how many there are, but you have replied to the king. May the Lord your God multiply the troops a hundred times over and may the eyes of the Lord, the king see it. But why does the Lord the king want to do such a thing? The king's words. However overruled joab in the Army commanders, so that they left the presence of the king to enroll the fighting men of Israel. And this is kind of you to say that, you know, the Lord was against David and he kind of blinded him to what was supposed to happen. But David had a blind spot in his life about what should happen and what shouldn't happen. And ultimately if you continued on in the story you would see that. David is a bit, the Lord comes against David and David has to make a choice about what destructive thing will happen to his his in the life of Israel. And so he was condemned for doing something. He shouldn't have been doing even though he was told otherwise, sometimes we have a blind spot and we aren't willing to listen to the truth. That others have to give us. And we're going to take a look at that today in the life of Josh effect. And so it just kind of get us thinking in that direction a little bit. For prayer request today, let's continue to remember Afghanistan and the Believers there. The American citizens there in the people there who are truly suffering under the bondage of the Taliban. Let's also remember hurricane Ida that has just hit landfall. It's a stage four or a level 4 hurricane. And it is a, it's a real bad one. So I will pray for those things. That's a spray. Our precious Father in Heaven. How we rejoice in who you are. We rejoice in who you are because of what you have done in our lives for a part from you. We are lost and found for a Eternal destruction because of your work through Jesus Christ. We have an eternal hope and everlasting. Hope that will never die. Because we have you we know you and love you. And so we thank you and we pray that your spirit would be with us as we come before you. We do ask for your guidance, your touch on the lives of the people of our community, people who have made the choice to not seek after you have gone astray. And so father, we lift our lives up to you. That somehow in your Mighty work, you would begin to touch the hearts of people in Father. We pray for Revival in our community, that people would start to realize that they are lost and have an incredible need to know you and walk with you. In this life met you in still in our hearts, a desire to reach out into touch their hearts in their lives. Father, we we do want to remember their request that are they here. And first of all, we pray for your work in our world. There are many parts of this world where people that work are working on the behalf of Satan and his evil desires are bringing destruction and harm to our people to the people. And many of them are believers that have sought you and look to you for your guidance. And so, father, may your Mighty hand be placed on the people of this world. And we particularly think of Afghanistan. We think of the Believers that are there who are under condemnation by the Taliban and their threat of death, by them is real. And so, father, we pray for your hand of protection, that you would move my plea on their behalf. Give them courage and strength to face, what they must and may we continue to lift them up. We pray for those Americans that are still left in that country. We pray for your hand to be with them to bring them out. Father. We pray for those who mourn the loss of those soldiers that have died there. And then we pray for your touch on our Our leaders in this land that they would be making wise decisions in their regard. Father, we want to remember the people that are in the path of this hurricane Ida, that your Mighty hand would be there to protect and to guard against destruction. Even in the face of these Mighty winds. You are still their father and still with them and we ask for your protection. Father, we pray for the unspoken request that each of us have that you would be working in lives and hearts, that people would be truly seeing your Mighty hand working in circumstances. And may they be drawn closer to you through these struggles and difficulties. And now, father is we continue to worship you today, that we would do. So, and power and strength, and look for the, your spirit to work in our hearts, in Jesus, precious name and through his Precious Blood. We ask these things. Amen.

How about if we, if we feel well and able to withstand in?

Sweet to trust in Jesus.

No.

Raise.

Will it rain?

The grace.

Gray.

Received it if you would like.

You. So, here I am to bow down here. I am to say that. You're my God. Weather where you're at.

You're all.

Across across.

Here I am here. I am y'all together. Here. I am to bow down. There. Were all together 1.

I am to bow down here. I am to say that are the all together.

Amen. Super charge time.

All right.

Let's start with the word of Prayer. Our Father in Heaven. How thankful. We are that you are here in our midst, or you have promised. I will never leave you. I will never forsake you and so father, we recognize that Jesus Christ is here. We also recognize that your holy spirit is here for you. If a guaranteed. Us eternity by that power. Father may your spirit lead and guide us as we listen to your word. May have to help us to contemplate our own lives. And look at our decisions in our processes that we use to make decisions in our lives. So that we will be wise and not foolish. So that we will recognize those things that we put up in our lives. That block our way. And may you guide me that as I open my mouth and speak. I would be doing. So as a humble servant of you and that you would be the true God in all things. In Jesus name, we ask these things. Amen. Well, we are taking a look at the life of Jehoshaphat. He was a king and probably the first third of Judas existence and we saw last week as we took a look at him that he had a great beginning. He started off by truly seeking the Living God and then he also wanted the people to know him and he got rid of the idols that were in the land. He had a great beginning and you look at his life and say, wow. That's awesome. We need to walk that way, you know, but there are times in our lives where we have blind spots that are created by our thoughts and ideas in our hopes and our lives that blind us from the things that that are supposed to keep us on the right path. And you think with the way, the shahanshah fat was following God, that he would truly walk the right path all along the way. I'll give you a little teaser about our lives and how that might happen. Have a dear friend that we knew for years in California. We got to know this couple through a Bible study, that we had together and then eventually, we had a prayer group that got together for probably four or five years each week. And so we got to know them really well and the family really well. Well, they had five kids four kids and the eldest was a daughter and she loved the Lord, and she wanted to follow him, but she fell in love with this guy who was not a believer. And so, our parents talked with her and said, you know, this, this could end up it with a struggle in, in your life. And she said, well, I really love him and I know that my faith is strong and if I walk properly, I will lead him to the truth. And so our friend that said, well, let me talk with him. And so he talked with the guy and the guy said, yeah, how you said, I understand where you're coming from and I'm truly going to follow this line and then then keep looking to God and see if that works for me. Well, they got married. And it didn't go. Well, eventually she stopped going to church and stopped fellowshipping with the Lord and all to mately. He threw some Discretions. The marriage came to an end and she came home. Terribly distraught about all things and they had a number of years where she really struggled with walking with the Lord and seeking him and eventually came back to that. But if she had just truly gone through the process and and truly sought to have a marriage with somebody who truly love the Lord, she would have. Hopefully I go on through far less struggles, but there was this blind spot that don't want that because I'm walking. With the Lord, I can lead him in the right path. Doesn't always work that way. And in fact, it often doesn't and so she had this blind spot. Well, we're going to take a look at the life of Jehoshaphat and he has a major blind spot and it has to do with his desire to bring the people of Israel back together with the people of Judah. And somehow I bring that connection in the line. And so let's take a look at the story found in 2nd Chronicles 18. It's a lot of reading here. We're going to spend a lot of time in the world because of the longer chapter in and it really takes the chapter to see the whole progression hear of the struggle that Josh, if that goes through, all right, first Chronicles 18 verses 1 through 5. It says now Josh, if he had had great wealth and honor and then remember that was from the Lord. God had blessed him greatly. Okay, and he Allied himself with Ahab, in marriage, in other words, he gave his eldest son or his son. Jehoram Ahab, and Jezebel's daughter. Athaliah. Some years later. He went down to see Ahab in Syria, Samaria, Ahab, slaughtered, many sheep and cattle for him. And the people with him and urged him to attack wrong with you live. Ahab king of Israel. Ask Josh, if at king of Judah, will you go down with me against wrong with gilad and Josh pad replied? I am as you are and my people is your people. We will join you in this war, but joshafat also said that the king of Israel, first seek the counsel of the Lord. And so the king of Israel brought together, the prophet four hundred men and ask them. Shall we go against Rome is gilad? Or shall I? Not now? You need to kind of read be here between the lines here. They have didn't follow the Living God. He followed bail. And these profits are not God's prophets. These are Bales buffets. Okay, so that's who he's in inquiring up and you know, shall we go against them? Go. They answer for God will give it into the king's hands but Josh fat ass is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here who we can inquire of the king of Israel answer. Jehoshaphat. There is still one profit through whom we can inquire of the Lord, but I hate him because he never prophesize anything good about me, but always bad is Micaiah. Son of imla. The king should not say such a thing. Jehoshaphat's replied. So the king of Israel called one of the officials said bring Micaiah son of em live, once dressed in his Royal, robes, the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah. We're sitting on their Thrones at the threshing floor by the entrance of this gate of Samaria with all the prophets prophesied before him. Now zedekiah, son of Han na sounds almost Hawaiian. If you've ever seen Hawaiian sounds their head made the iron horns, and he declare this is what the Lord says. With these you are the Armenians until they are destroyed and all the prophets were prophesying. The same thing at a crime of gilad and be victorious. They said for the Lord will give it into the king's hands, the measure messenger, who had gone to summon Micaiah said to him. Look, now the other prophets without exception or predicting success for the king. Let your word agree with theirs and speak favorably. But Natalia said, as surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what my God says, when he arrived the king asked, if Makaya, shall we go to war against Rama's deal it or shall we not attacking be victorious? Answered or they will give you a be given into your hands and the King said to him, how many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord. Okay. So a little facetiousness going on by Micaiah the prophet but we need to start off and realize that we have to make choices each and every day really concerning wife and sometimes those choices involve what we do with the Living God, and we need to be truly wise about those choices. Will Jehoshaphat makes three really horrible choices in this. Section of scripture and they will come back to not only want him, but they will come back and they will haunt the people of Judah. For a number of generations. I am duck. The first one is the idea of being married to ask a celaya the daughter of Ahab and Jezebel. Now, remember that Ahab is not a worshipper of the Living God. He is a worshipper of the idle bail. And Jezebel is well, bail. And asherah not remember a few years before. This Elijah met these prophets on Mount Carmel, in a little early slaughtered 400 of them on that mountain. Remember that? Well here is 400 more that have been brought back in and there were so few. So these are probably all young ones that the king is paid to be his profits and such and so they want to serve the king and that's what they're doing. They're they're serving him telling. Hey you do what you want to do. That will predict it. Well, there's a problem in that and we'll see that a little bit later on but athaliah is one who is not following the Living. God. She's following bail and she brings that into the household. Of Jehoshaphat because she marries his son. Jehoram, who is the to become the next king.

This is what it says in 2nd Chronicles, 20 to 10. When athaliah, the mother of a Hazara Shia saw that her son was dead. She proceeded to destroy the whole, royal family of the house of Judah. Okay. This is a destructive behavior that has continued because what happened to Joe horim as soon as Joshua fat passed and he became king. The first thing he did was he killed all his brothers. All those who might attain to the throne if he wasn't there. Imagine that. To go out and kill all five of your brothers just because you didn't want anybody to have any access to the kingdom. So he does this. Well, his son 8 has diarrhea rains after him and he reigns for one year. And when he dies, athaliah takes over and she literally goes to destroy the, all the possibilities of those who are in line to be king. And she almost does it. She destroys all, but one baby joash. and for several years she rains over Judah, imagine that somebody who is truly a worshipper of Baal is raining over Judith this time and that's all because

Josh, if that decided to align himself with an evil tribe, The evil tribes of Israel. Okay, he gets them poor Council. You know, he, he wants. He wants to have counsel here. Sorry. I should go through the other two issues. Number one. He should never have gone up to a Hab. That's the second fault and gone to him. If they have wanted to come to him. He would have the influence to instruct a have been his wise worship, but he should have never gone to him and thirdly. He recognizes his people 1/2 people as his own people. Remember that you do not recognize non-christians is being Christians. And and this is the same sort of thing. He's recognizing those who follow the Living God being equal with those who do not. And so he has three things that are against him at this point. We'll see next week that he is condemned for this and that will take a look at that. But poor Council comes because he gets counsel from all these prophets of Baal. And Micah 3 311 says, cheerleaders judge for a bribe or priests teach for a prize and our profits tell fortunes for money. And that's essentially what the prophets of Baal we're doing. They were getting money for being in their position. And so they work prophesying for the benefit of those who were in leadership, yet. They look for the Lord support and say is not the Lord among us. No disaster. Will come upon us. Remember what they said, go ahead and fight a ram, you know, you're going to win the battle. You'll Gore them with the your your your horn, the horns, your head there here. So anyway, Joshua fat does a wise thing here. He says, you know, I, I respect these guys, but I want to hear from somebody who Worship the Lord. Now, that was a wise decision, right? You know, seek God's Will, and that's a wise decision. Psalm, 27:8 says, my heart says to use. See his face, your face Lord, I will seek. And remember we read last a week that Josh, if it's not the Lord's face, that was his desire to seek his face. Okay, what's the problem here? The problem is you need to carry through on what God has to say, you know, I can go ahead and open up the book and I can read the Bible and see what it has to say. But if I close the book and go ahead and do what I want to do. It makes no difference, does it? But this is what Jehoshaphat Jehoshaphat is, is getting. Now. He's getting the idea of Gods. Word, but what does he do with it? And that's a big question. Remember these profits step up and they want to say what they want to say. And Micaiah says, I'm going to say what God wants me to say, no matter what any of you think. Remember there was a prophet before Israel moved in to take the land. Remember him Balaam. Remember the king of Moab balak came to him and he said he would you curse is real because I want them condemned and I wanted to feed them. So go out and curse them. And here's what Balaam said number is 2238. Well, I have come to you now. Balaam replied, but I can't say whatever I please. I must speak. Only what God puts in my mouth you say and that's a wise prophet. A prophet who is really connected with God. At least you thought Balaam was connected with John. That didn't turn out that way. But that was a wise statement. I'm only going to tell you what God tells me. You know, and if you hear the truth, you need to follow it, so. Let's take a look at the truth. And the truth is that there is no Shepherd here. No Shepherd. Let's read it in 2nd, Chronicles 18 16227. Then Micaiah answer to. I saw Israel scattered on the Hills like sheep without a shepherd. And the Lord said these people have no master, Let. Each one. Go, go home in peace. The king of Israel said, did your hardship that didn't I tell you that he never prophesize. Anything good about me. But only bad Micaiah. Continue, therefore, hear the word of the Lord. I Saw the Lord sitting on his throne, with the mall, all the multiples of Heaven standing on the right and on his left, and the Lord said, who will entice Ahab king of Israel, into attacking Rome of gilad and going to his death there. One suggested the S. And another that and finally Spirit came forward stood before the Lord and said I will entice him. By what means the Lord asked. I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his profits. You said, you will succeed and enticing. Him said the Lord going to do it. Until the Lord, is, put a deceiving spirit. In the mouths of these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you. Then zedekiah son of King, Anna all went up and slapped. The guy in the face which way to the spirit of the Lord go. When he went from me to you to speak to you. Yes, Lucaya reply. You will find out on the day you go in to hide in an in-room. Now, they don't, the Bible doesn't really answer. What was what happened here, but the idea might be that they have didn't survive the battle and all these prophets were were saying he would survive. Ebony should go fight. So they are false prophecies cuz they have to die. Right essentially. And so, of course, they have his family would want to take it out on these profits. And so the assumption would be that they went after all these problems to kill them. And so that prediction I'm sure came true though. We don't have the whole sense of that. Anyway, the king of Israel been ordered ordered take McKayla and send him back to a man, the ruler of the city into joash the King's son and say this is what the king says, but this fellow in prison and give him nothing but bread and water until I returned safely. Micaiah declared. If you ever returned safely, the Lord has not spoken through me. Then he added. Mark my words. All you people. So here we are. The whole idea of a prophet and his worthiness is always been that if the prophet speaks the truth and it happens. He's a true Prophet. If he does not, if it doesn't happen, then he is not a true prophet. And of course we find out that in the end that these 400 prophets of Baal were false and sometimes were deceived by this. Sometimes we get the idea that just because most people are saying you want to do this, that we ought to do it. And we don't listen to what God is truly saying to our lives in our hearts. And so we have to have open minds that are ready to receive what God has for us. And not men. It says that there without a Shepherd. Why are they? Without a Shepherd is not because they don't have these kings that are leading them. It's because these kings are relying, not on the Lord, to be their Shepherd.

Put on themselves and their decisions. When we begin to rely on ourselves or other people to help make our decisions. We no longer have the shepherd leading us. We have mankind leading us and that's always a bad step numbers 27-17, says, to go out and come in before them one who will lead them out and bring them in. So the Lord's people will not be like sheep without a Shepherd. Well, this speaking of Moses and of course later on David, the Good Shepherd, but eventually leading to Jesus Christ. We all need Jesus Christ or you will never will have the Good Shepherd and we must rely upon that Shepherd in the things that we do. Wally's prophets were lying. They were very deceptive and what they said and they were leading both Ahab and and Josh, if a stray, they have wanted to be led astray. So that was no problem. Josh, if that should not have been wanting to be led astray. He should have wanted the truth is nikhil, 15-9 says, and if the profit is in ties to other a prophecy, I the Lord would have enticed that profit and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people, Israel. And in other words to prophesy on behalf of the Lord and be lying about it is total Destruction for yourself, total Destruction.

You know, we have these worldly judges that are willing to stand against us and to do wrong and we need to stand on the truth. And the truth is found in God's word and what it has to say. We have this little picture in Acts where Paul is taken prisoner and he's been called to stand before the Sanhedrin and give an account of who he is. And so he's speaking with the almond and telling them why he's doing what he's doing and one of the people calls him to be struck and then Paul said to him I will God will strike you. You whitewash wall, you sit there and judgment judge me according to the lawyer yet. You yourself. Violate the law by commanding that I'd be struck. In other words. Paul is telling the person that called him to be struck and he was the Cole, Haan hagadol. The leader of the of the Sanhedrin who who did this, but he was telling him. Hey, you're not obeying the law. You guys for me to be struck here. And that's the whole thing that we need to be obedient to God's law and his will. The final word about a prophet Prophet is found in Deuteronomy 18 verse 22. If what a prophet proclaimed in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true. That is a message. The Lord has not spoken. That Prophet has spoken presumptuously. So do not be alarmed. And other words again. We take a look at what really happens in. What really happens is what the prophet said. That's the truth and we should rely upon that profit. We don't have any recollection of whatever happened to Micaiah, but we will take a look at whether is prophecy became true. The next section 8 list. As God said. No. God said no Micaiah servant of the Living. God says, no don't go to war Ahab. If you go you're going to die. Joshafat, if you go, you're going to lose, don't go to war. Okay, that's essentially what he said. So, let's read what happens? So the king of Israel and Josh, Chavez verses 28 through 34, excuse me, king of Judah, went up to Rama's gilad. The king of Israel said to Josh too bad. I will enter the battle in Disguise, but you wear your Royal Roads. Now that should have made you stop and think, shouldn't it? I mean, if you're halfway intelligent, you ought to say, wait a minute, wait a minute for what he has to say here. We'll see what happened. He didn't listen. So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle. Now, the king of Where is Chariot? Commanders do not fight with anyone smaller? Great, except the king of Israel. And when the Chariot commanders saw joshafat and they thought this is the king of Israel. And so they turned to attack him but Josh if that cried out and the Lord helped him, God threw them away from him. And when the Chariot Commander saw that he was not the king of his really stop pursuing him, but someone threw a ball with random and hit the king of Israel between the breastplate and the scale armor. The king told the Chariot driver wheel around and get me out of the fighting. I've been wounded all day long, the battle rage, and the king of Israel. Propped himself up in his Chariot. Facing the Aramaic ends until evening, man, and Son. Set, he died.

You know. When God says, no, don't do it. We need to be listening to what he says because only disaster can come from not being obedient to the Living God remember before, when Israel first started wondering and we're looking to go into the land. They sent 12 Spies into the land and these twelve spies went throughout the land and they looked at it and 10 of those fives. If you remember, came back and said, wow, this is the, this is nice land, but hey, the people are too strong. We can't do that. We, we don't need to go course. We know that Joshua and Caleb said no, we need to go in and take the land and because they did that, they did eventually go in and take the land, but the people said, no, we're not going in. And God said, okay, since you rejected what I wanted you to do, you're going to wander 40 years in the desert. and they said, Okay, will obey will go in and take the land like you said, but got it already said no. And they didn't, listen. What happened to them? They were destroyed, but Moses said to them, numbers 1441. But Moses said, why are you disobeying the Lord? This will not succeed. And of course they win against the tribes in the southern end of Judah of what would become Judah and they were defeated horribly. Why? Because God said, no, don't go in. And there are times in our lives. When God says, no, I don't want you doing that. And we choose to do it anyway. And then things don't go right in our lives. And we wonder what what happened. What happened? Well, did you listen to God when God said no, where you obedient to that? Another Falstaff Nopal are saw, you know, he started off his work is the first king of Israel very well, but then he faltered and failed and eventually fell down to the point where he truly struggled. God said, don't go to mediums and there were these that don't even have mediums in the land, but there was. And so he just disguises himself and he goes to see a medium, another all steps. So it's all disguises himself putting on other clothes, in it, that night, he and two men went to to the woman consult a spirit for me, Zed and bring up for me. The one I said, you shouldn't have done that. Desperately shouldn't have done that. He should have been listening to God in the first place. What happened to Spirit Samuel came forward and said, you know, That it you've disobeyed god. Well, Joshua fat. I was told don't go to war. You will not succeed. What did he do? Well, and went to battle with him and they didn't succeed. They fail because he did not listen to The God. Who earlier in the, in the earlier chapter 17. He said it says that he sought god. Well, he didn't see God here. He asked him to come, but he didn't listen to him. Have you ever gone to God and ask him for something? Then just decided to go ahead and do it. Anyway, even though maybe it wasn't the right thing to do, and that's what Josh vet. Did he listen to God? They prayed to him, he heard what God had to say, clearly heard what God had to say and still chose to disobey. But, you know, God even watches out for us when we're foolish. And so in the battle, we saw that as the era Millions, with, after Josh event, that he cried out and I imagine he cried out of the lord, lord save me. As he's running away in his Chariot and God, does intervene and he's saved him, even though he had wandered away, because he wasn't man, really did want to see God. He wanted to do the right thing, but he had a Blind Side. To himself that kept him from doing the right thing. And of course, we end up in some 28-8 says, Hear My Cry for Mercy as I called to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your most, holy place. And I'm sure that that's what Josh. If that was doing when they all these people came riding after him because he was hanging, they were told, you know, destroy the king. And so I'm sure that they work very aggressively going after him. And so he cries out and the Lord rescues him. But he doesn't rescue Ahab. This is the end for Ahab. And it says in King's first, king in the First Kings, looking back at this episode. It says as the sun was setting, a cry spread through the Army, every man to his town, every man to his town. And that's what happened. As soon as the king died. Everybody went back to their own place and the era man's had a great victory that day over the people of Israel and the people of Judah.

And then we see in the life of Josh. If I hadn't will see a bit later on that there is also another connection. The Josh iPad has an every time he fails it's because he chose to go with sinful Israel. Instead of abiding with what God taught him to do. And sometimes we just get an urge to do the wrong thing with wrong people, and we should So, here's a couple of things to think about.

Think before you make a decision, particularly, if you're making a decision that has something to do with your life, in your future. You want to make sure that God is involved in it. So you need to be praying and asking God, you know, what do I do in this situation? The scriptures tell us the God gives us wisdom when we truly seek his face. Remember joshafat, was seeking God's face in chapter 17. He saw him and God blessed him over and over and over again with riches, and and people obeying him and Nations other nations awarding him. And those sort of things. He was blessed. Why? Because he saw God, And in this case and in his other cases, he fails because he doesn't see God, he seeks his own will. So think before you do things, did call you to do something that maybe God doesn't want you to do Choose Wisely. Because God will give you a Direction. But sometimes we have this Blind Side that keeps us from doing what God wants us to do. Because we get the idea that this needs to be done. His idea probably was, we need to reunite as a nation Israel and Judah need to come together. Andrea night sounds wonderful sounds really good because they were brothers, right? They were brothers in that ought to be right, but he was willing to compromise his walk with the Lord to get it done. And we should never compromise. What we do, Choose Wisely, the things that we do and finally, aligned with God, when we make choices, in our lives. We need to align with what God wants for our lives. And so we can learn a lot from what joshafat does. Right? And what he does wrong because they're both very evident. I when we examine his life, sometimes we need to examine our own lives as deeply as we can is life. Let's pray. Our gracious Father in Heaven, how we thank you that. We have these pictures in scripture of how we need to operate them. These are living pictures because they're things that happened to real people who wanted to serve you and yet. We're blindsided by their own desires. Father, help us to be wise. Help us to truly, look to you to make the decisions of our lives and help us to follow you before anything else. Or when we do, we have success in the fly success in our walk with you. And truly, our eternity is more blessed when we truly follow you and be obedient to you. Dinosaur Lord, by your Mighty hand, in the name of Jesus, our lord and savior. We ask these things. Amen listing is we close.

I love you.

My gracious Father in Heaven, how we thank you that you desire, that relationship and you walk with us, even when we falter and fail. But father, helped faithful and true help. What's the truly Look to You to guide each and every step of our lives? And as we go out into the world, that is around us. May, we truly walk to represent you to be light and power and strength through a world. In need. We ask this in the precious name of our Lord, Our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow.
