Psalm 33:1-2
1 Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. 2 Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
The New International Version (1984) Psalm 33
1 Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous;
it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
2 Praise the LORD with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
3 Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully, and shout for joy.
Verses 1-2 set up the Psalm for the REASON we should give praise to our Sovereign God

5 The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

Application:
When we worship we need to be free in our hearts to express that love.
We are humbled by His “Steadfast Love”
Because of His demonstrated Love we can have Hope in God.
