God has designed this world with different tools for correcting human behavior depending on the area of life wherein this behavior occurs. This design assumes the ideal of self-governed human freedom. The three main areas are the Ecclesiastical Sphere, the Civil Sphere, and the Private Sphere. Though each is distinct, each is governed by God.
