9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The Greek word for hallowed is hagiazō
meaning: holy
This word is from the root word hagiŏs
meaning: sacred, and blameless.
Using the original greek text to break down this word to Holy-blameless name of God
This is saying that when we are speaking to God we are to have the utmost respect and fear for God when we come before him in prayer.

“Your” here is implying ownership of His kingdom and will.
ultimately it is extended to our lives and the world that we live in by saying “your will be done on earth”
Jesus prays the same prayer twice in Matthew 26:39-42
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
40 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
42 Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”
Jesus is saying that when we pray we should always pray for Gods will to be done in the situation that we are praying for instead of our own will.

Jesus here is implying that we only ask for the food that God is going to grant us for that day and not tomorrows food.
Jesus further makes this point in Matthew 6:34
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

The greek word used for debt and debtors used here is the same word used to describe someone lending and borrowing money.
Ephesians 4:32 is a good clarification of what is being ment here in this verse.
32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
God forgave us of something that He absolutely hates (sin) so we should be able to forgive other people who has wronged us in the past.
Jesus went into more detail about this subject just a few verses down in Matthew 6:14-15
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The only way to be delivered from the evil one and temptation is death.
We should be looking forward to death not dreading it, because death for the Christian is the beginning of life.
