Stand - plural. stand your ground.
belt of truth - suspenders. Held everything together. like a giant diaper in the battle.
truth is what holds everything together. So that the enemy can’t grab you.

Breastplate of righteousness - purity is what protects you, your heart, your emotions. But its not our righteousness, it is His.

special shoes with spikes in them. Not for running.
Gospel of peace - this is war, why is talking about peace?

16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
all circumstances - you need faith in all circumstances.
shield of faith - faith then protects you. shield is door. Large shield. To hold your ground. Place in water.
How does faith put out darts from devil?
flaming darts - devil will constantly try to attack you.

sword of the spirit - this is your primary weapon. If you are not reading your bible and memorizing scripture. You are fighting a battle with no weapon!

Praying at all times - always doing it.
In the Spirit. So prayer and scripture are your weapons.
