HE SAID SOMETHING

(GOD’S WORD)

Christmas Humor:
As a little girl climbed onto Santa's lap, Santa asked the usual, "And what would you like for Christmas?" The child stared at him for a minute, then gasped: "Didn't you get my E-mail?"

1)       God’s Word (Jesus) produces.  See John 15.

2)      All of creation rejoices when we become His fruit.  (Jesus is the Lord of Creation.)

3)      Thorn and nettle (sin) have become cypress and myrtle (salvation and holiness).

4)      All because Jesus was born.

God spoke; Jesus came.  The world will never be the same.

#224  3 verses

Isaiah 55:11-13 (NLT)
11 It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. 12 You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! 13 Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”[1]
