 INTRODUCTION

Ever messed up and needed a chance to start over again? All of us have at one time or another made a mistake that we truly regretted.

But how can we start over with God? Can we? Some teach once saved always saved if you mess up forget it cause only the perfect only the redeemed will make it to heaven!

21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. 22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. 23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

1.   We can begin starting over by remembering God!

14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

2.   We then need to return to God!

"I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee." (Isaiah 44:22, KJV)

a.       We can return because of His Grace!

b.      We need to obey his calling while he is calling us!

Isaiah 55:6KJV

6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

c.       He can still forgive even your mistakes no matter how big they were!

Isaiah 1:18KJV

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

3.   We then must rejoice in God for great is His salvation!

"Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel." (Isaiah 44:23, KJV)

a.       Rejoice for His redemption!

b.      Sing out in praise!

Isaiah 49:13KJV

13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

Conclusion

Will we keep putting off Salvation?

Hebrews 2:3KJV

3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
