! What to do when trouble comes your way.
*How many times do we try to do “it” all alone?
What kind of troubles do we have?
Fear?
Loneliness?
Depression?
Anything that pulls us away from God! When instincts cry out to run, then run to God.
I have trouble, at times, with loneliness.
I get to feeling like I’m all alone, but I’m not.
God is always there, but it’s up to me to ask for his help.
Sometimes, all I can do is say *“Please help me God.”*
It’s at those times, that I feel God helps me the most.
It usually happens late at night, and I ALWAYS feel better by the time morning gets here.
!! Let’s go to God’s word
*King David was literally chased down for 10 years, but he never failed to praise God for taking care of him.
King David never gave up on God.
David was honest with God about how he felt.
David cried out to God for help.
/Psalm 22:24/
/Psalm 23:4/
God already knows how we feel.
God knew our whole life’s story, before we were born.
/Psalm 139:13-16/
!!! God is strong in weakness
When we cry out to God, it enables God to help us.
/2 Corinthians 12:7-10/
God hears us when we call for help, e.g.
King David once again.
/Psalm 18:6/
/Psalm 33:20-22/
/Psalm 46:1/
/Psalm 72:12 (King Solomon)/
!!!! *Jesus knows what suffering is all about!!!!*
We have a Lord that understands our suffering and pain.
/Hebrews 2:18/
/Hebrews 4:15-16/
We must approach the throne of God with confidence.
He WILL help us!
He DOES understand!
He WILL help!
/1 Corinthians 10:13/
What is that way out?
It’s faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ!
If we run, then we’re not giving God the chance to help us.
We MUST go to God in times of trouble.
Here’s the promise
/Psalm 55:22/
!!!! *When you’re in trouble….*
/Matthew 11:28-30/
Walk with Jesus!
Take His yolk….upon
you.
We can’t do “it” alone.
He doesn’t want us to.
!!!!! *Let God lead you to victory!!!!*
/John 16:33/
He, /*Jesus Christ, has overcome the world!*/
We have to let God overcome our troubles, which can seem like the world, when we’re going through it at the time.
/*Claim victory in Jesus name!*/
/*Feel what you’re feeling!*/
/*Tell God about it!*/
Ask God to help you through it!
In the 23 Psalm, it says “through the valley of the shadow of death, not around it, not under it, not over it, it says THROUGH it.
God will lead us THROUGH it, IF we let him.
All we have to do is ask.
Thank God and praise His holy name for getting you through it!!!!
We must give God the glory.
*IF GOD BROUGHT YOU TO IT, THEN GOD WILL GET YOU THROUGH IT!!!!*
