The Day of Pentecost was stunning, to say the least. The disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, the first Christian sermon was preached, and the church grew by 3,000 believers in the matter of a few hours. In spite of the rapid growth, the church had pretty narrowly defined functions. Join us this week as we consider those functions again in our own context.
