The Four word formula for success.

Man has come up with some formulas for everything imaginable.

Pepsi has formulas for their different sodas.

Coca Cola has their special formula for the real thing.

The Colonel has a secret formula for their original or crispy chicken.

Even McDonalds has a formula for their secret sauce.

Sister Rosalie has several formulas for appetizers and main course dinner items or dessert that is to say the least, delicious.

There are certain formulas that we must follow in math, science and English.

There are formulas that we must consider before building a house or a high rise building even in the building of a simple flat parking lot.

With all of the formulas that we have to use or follow, it is a wonder how some of us make it through the day, Amen.

Success in life is no different, we can muddle along and maybe we will get through this life unscaved, highly unlikely, or we can do what we need to do first.

You want to know the formula for success in your life.

Here is the formula:

Gen 1:1

“In the beginning God.”

You want victory in your life,            GOD FIRST.

You want success in your life,        GOD FIRST.

You want a healing in your life,       GOD FIRST.

You want your family to be blessed, GOD FIRST.

You want your children to be blessed,

GOD FIRST.

GOD wants to be first in your life.

AMEN!

No matter what you are doing in your life God should be first.

He new we would have trouble finding this formula so He gave us an instruction manual if you will.

The Bible has sixty-six books in it that are full of instruction, full of wisdom full of the history of Gods’ creation, and yes, full of events that have yet come about.

But we have to open it and read it, study Gods’ Word to us.

Many people in the world today and some in church have their own ideas as to what God expects from us.

You know them, all I have to do is be a good person, God and I have an understanding.

Well none of us will ever be good enough on our own; we need Jesus in our life.

You may think you and God have an understanding, but let me tell you something, God understands that we are all sinners and without His precious blood on our life we are doomed for all eternity.

He wants to be first in your life, He doesn’t want to be the Omega in your life, He is not satisfied with being the end in your life: He wants to be the Alpha in your life, Amen.

 

2 Timothy 3: 16 All Scripture /is/ given by inspiration of God, and /is/ profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17  that the man of God may be complete,  thoroughly equipped for every good work.

 

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake/ as they were/ moved by the Holy Ghost.

“Knowing this first.”

Simon Peter says that this is the first thing we are to know.

The word /knowing/ is a knowledge that comes, not only from the Word of God, not only from facts that can be ascertained—if you have an honest heart, you can find out whether the facts in the Bible are accurate or not—but these are things which you can know by the Holy Spirit’s making them real to you.

GOD FIRST!

There are many first in Gods’ Word more than we can cover in a short time, the first day, the first-born, the first fruits, the first covenant.

There are many first in our lives as well: the first kiss, the first love, the first date, the wedding, Notice I did not say the first wedding marriages are supposed to last forever, and it is possible for that if you put GOD FIRST.
