Opening & Intro

Don’t worry we will fix it in post.
Does anyone know what that means?
Well, Remember what happened a few minutes ago. Where I really embarrassed myself then all that crazy stuff happened to Brenda?
Well for the people at home I was able to cut all of that horible horrible stuff out of this feed. They didn’t see it.
For those watching at home everyone here is as confused as you are. LOL Nothing happened.
I made it all up...
But that is what fixing it in post means. It means once it is done being filmed we can edit out the bad parts.
Probelm is we can’t do that with our lives. once they are over they are over.
Some religions teach reincarnation or that there is a second chance in the afterlife. But our Bible teaches us that this simply isn’t the case.
Once it is over it is over. We choose in this life what is going to happen.

Main Point

Is it worth it?
We know that Jesus is worthy, worth it, He’s working on our behalf, We have to believe it, now we need to think about what it means?
Is it worth it?
We have to answer that question. It is a life or death question we have to answer.

Why Does it Matter

We can’t fix it in post.
When I die someday I am going to have stand in front of God and give Him an answer.
We are no longer ignorant. We have this education. Is it worth it? YES IT IS!

Scripture

Hebrews 12:14–29 NIV
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done. You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.” The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.” But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
14 - Try your best to be kind other wise people won't see God.
15 - Help people to be their best. Guard against bitterness.
Video - Explain Megan Vogal (helped girl cross finish line and put her ahead of herself.)
In interview said We are all running this race and we all worked VERY hard to be here. So i didn’t care about my time I just wanted to help her finish.
Kindness speaks louder than victory.
We are all running the same race.
16 - Don't give away your inheritance on a whim for something temporary.
17 - Once it is done, it is done. There are no do-overs
This world is short. Is our life with Jesus in heaven worth feeling kinda good here on earth.
Let me put it this way. The best you have ever felt in your life is also in this dying world. We have never truely been healthy. We are always a little sick and a little sore.
We get used to the pain.
Before I had my surgery I was in pain for a little over 4 years. In and out of the hospital...
18-21 - This isn't the same as the past. God is now accessable because of Jesus. Sin is defeated.
Sin is deafeated w can live like we do in this life WITHOUT SIN AND WITHOUT PAIN AND WITHOUT DEATH AND WITHOUT LOSS.
Is it worth it?
22 - We are at a new place now. One full of singing and rejoicing.
23 - This is Jesus' Church where we are made perfect
24 - Where there was once death there is now life.
25 - Don't run from this truth. Believe Him who calls us.
Jesus wants us to live in the freedom of his love. He calls us to stand firm in our faith.
26 - We will experience God in both Earth and Heaven
27 - the two will become one
28 - We are recieving a perfect gift so lets thank God with humility and amazement.
29 - He still is a consuming fire.
