Theme: The truth about suffering. We must trust that there is suffering in our lives because God in His sovereignty chooses to use it so that He might be glorified. He reveals the blindness in our hearts and the blindness that we have to our sin. Through this story we understand the way of salvation, that we have a savior who humbled Himself to save us. We follow Him, we serve Him and we continue to grow in His truth.
