Introduction
You may have heard of the Great Reset. According to Wikipedia it is the name of the 50th annual World Economic Forum held in June 2020 that brought together high -profile political and business leaders in ranks of Prince of Wales and such, with the theme of rebuilding society and the economy in what is claimed to be more sustainable way, following the COVID-19 pandemic. I don’t know factual details, but wishful thinking rummer has it that mortgage, and credit card debt will be whipped away, and there will be no income tax. They used to say, two things are for sure death and Taxes. If these rummer are true, only death remains, after which financial debts will be whipped out anyway.
Body
I know of another real deadly global pandemic virus and a great reset of a different kind. This deadly virus is called Sin-all, it not only can kill the body, but it keeps pilling up like a financial debt, deadening the soul and it doesn’t get whipped out after death. Pretty bad stuff, the world would be a much better place if it feared Sin half as much as COVID, masked, sprayed and social distanced from it, cancel cultured it, Shut the doors on it, Stop Singing for it, Sin -All that is! But God’s gave his Great Reset to let his Son Jesus Christ be lifted up on the Cross for the sin of the world, to wipe away the debt of Sin, and to provide cure for Sin, Blood and Water pouring out of the side of his Son Jesus on the Cross. “For God so Loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him might not parish but might have eternal life.
Conclusion
Sin is by far the deadliest of all pandemic viruses combined in human history, highly contagious, but unlike COVID we all actually carry different amounts of it all times. That’s way it must be tested for and cured from it frequently. God has given us His Holy Spirit to test with, and the sacraments of reconciliation and the Eucharist, The Body and Blood of Christ to cure with. Immunity against Sin builds up the more we test and cure. God in his mercy has made The Greatest Rest of all times, “For God so Loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him might not parish but might have eternal life.
