He is with us all!

Luke 7:11-18 (KJV)

11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people . 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her . 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not . 14 And he came and touched the bier : and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise . 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother . 16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people . 17 And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about . 18 And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things .

AThe only son of his mother, and she was a widow@ this was a land of no social security nor insurance. Without a husband nor son a widow had no way to live no one to provide for her. She would not live through the up coming winter so she had NO hope!

Psalm 9:9-10 (KJV)

9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble . 10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalm 34:5-6 (KJV)6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

AHe came and touched the bier or coffin@ Jews were forbidden to touch anything that was or had anything to do with the dead it was unclean! But that didn=t stop Jesus! Even when we see no way that is proper He overcomes any problem!

Psalm 23:4 (KJV)

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (KJV)

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time : 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you .         

Psalm 40:17 (KJV)

17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land .
