God Gives Hope No Matter What!

Where is our breaking point? The “breaking point” is a point in time when we feel like just giving up and turning in where is your breaking point? God gives hope no matter what! Some of us are weakest when we are in pain some can take pain and not blink an eye. For others it is financial, still others it is spiritual. Your breaking point might just be another person that you allow to “get under your skin” or extreme sadness, etc. God gives hope now matter what! Where is your breaking point?

 We break when we run out of strength and we just can’t hold on any longer but as a child of God we should have no breaking point (although we still do) we shouldn’t rely on our own strength but on God’s power; because God gives hope now matter what! and nothing can separate us from His love!

Romans 8:35-39 (KJV)

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

How can this be? Nothing can separate me from God’s love so why do I feel so bad some times?

1.   We must make sure that we are living under God’s power and not our own!

a.       Don’t try to solve your own problems Live in His Power!

2 Corinthians 4:7KJV

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

b.       We are not forgotten!

2 Corinthians 4:8-9KJV

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

c.       Too many times we just break down and give up because of our circumstances! Have you given up lately?

Paul and Silas were arrested for preaching about Jesus it was commanded they be put in prison did they feel pain yes, did they break down no!

Acts 16:23-25KJV

23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Others out there hear your praises and they remember when you give up!

2.    We need to know where our help is at!

a.        When we feel weak we need to look for strength!

 Psalm 46:1KJV

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

b.      God is our strength and our help!

Psalm 46:2KJV

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

c.        No matter how bad things get God is all powerful and we must trust in Him!

Psalm 46:3KJV

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

3.   God not only helps others He also loves you and He is with you!

John 16:33KJV

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jesus is an over-comer you can be too!
