A Good Reason for Politeness

“My boy,” said a father to his son, “treat everybody with politeness, even those who are rude to you; remember, you show courtesy to others, not because they are gentlemen, but because you are one.”

“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

What does it means?

A. Def:*

To put in the mind

To warn, to exhort, to rebuke a wrong doing.

To set right, to warn, to lay on the heart of someone.

It assumes that there is something wrong in the life of a believer.

To help a disobedient Christian to turn around.

To help someone who is out of step with the Spirit to get back in line.
