When, when you're on stage with a volcano and that's, that's pretty impressive.
I got to say, they did an amazing job, but when you, when you look at it at 12, okay, to think about the power.
A Majesty that is even exhibited in a volcano.
It's interesting over my life.
I've never seen a when a volcano decides that it's going to a route that I have never seen people stand and and scoff at the volcano and say how dare you and shake their first and then tell it to stop.
They sweet as lava is Flowing, down the side of the mountain as it heads to the Sea.
You don't see one stand in his path and say no further.
You don't.
As as we come to our passes today.
We are going to be looking at the power and the Majesty.
Evan Almighty God.
Yeah, it's interesting.
We would never even think about doing something like that with a volcano, but how often do we see mankind?
Shake their fists at God and Sky When God says to do something.
How often when we we look at what God has told us to do, if we try to stand in the way and say, no.
I don't like that plan.
A different way.
Do that way.
And we find ourselves willing to do that sometimes in our own hearts and our own minds, don't we?
Yeah, we would never consider doing that.
So volcano.
Yet the same guys, spoke that volcano even into existence for today is wee wee.
Look at the scriptures and remind me.
I want you to consider this God that we serve.
An Almighty God we've been going through Genesis and we've been looking at that the unfolding work of of what God is doing in in the life of Abram.
and I think about what would, what's been going on as we come to chapter 17, and I'd encourage you to
To go there, we think about what's been occurring in Abraham's life all the way back in in Genesis chapter 12 received.
Maybe we see that the God is issued a a promise to Abram.
He says and I will make you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great.
And so you shall be a blessing.
He goes on and says, and I will bless those who bless you.
And the one who curses you.
I will purse.
And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed from the very beginning with Abram.
We have seen God, extend this, this promise, this plan that he has for Abram.
And we've been watching this plan unfold in, in Abraham's life and God revealed more and more about this plan until they did.
You see that initial plan?
Those things that will be unfolded a revealed even later on in the scriptures?
After Abram is long gone.
But think about what we did come to so far in Genesis 15 when list is God unveiled.
That Covenant with Abram.
If you recall that Covenant was was solely dependent upon the God that he served.
And if we see that Abraham in in chapter 15, that his fate was credited to him as righteousness.
It's interesting as God unfolds that time and chapter 15.
He also see that Abraham presented a plan to God.
And he says well.
How about this?
We will allow that to go through in that plan to unfold through Eleazar my servant and God says, no not that man.
What's good about that situation was God and he and Abram.
Where were communicating Abram was going to die than saying.
Hey, what about this guy was like, nope.
That's not my plan last week.
However, in in chapter 16, as as they were looking at how this plan, buy them fold and Abraham and Sarah was there.
I comes up with this wonderful idea.
If I'm going to sleep with my maidservant, take her as your wife and have her phone with her.
That didn't go so.
Well didn't we're going to continue to see the after effects of that wonderful idea that they had.
Is the problem, when they came up with that plan?
We do not see.
Then seeking after God.
There's No Going to God and saying.
What do you think?
Is this how your plan is going to unfold?
Because remember, it wasn't Abraham's plan.
It was God's plan.
But there's no going to God and saying is this how you want this to unfold?
And now we come to to chapter 17.
God's going to unveil some some details about his plan as we look at this chapter and then this this week, I'm not going to read the entire chapter.
Read a lot of it, but not all of it.
Different God, reviewing is playing.
We see the God is establishing his Covenant through a son that will come to Sarah.
And Abram is as we look at this chapter.
We see that God is going to have to do some things.

The sign of circumcision of this Covenant that God is entry into with his people.
This is not a New Covenant that we're looking at.
In this chapter.
It is merely God.
Revealing more about this Covenant that he is engaging in entering into with Abraham and his descendants.
And so as we begin to unfold this chapter and look at what God is going to do, how God is going to work.
We see the details of the plan coming together.
And it really is you look at this Covenant and you look at the the scriptures as a whole.
You see, God begins to unveil more and more and more.
In fact, if you go all the way back to the very beginning where it, where Adam and Eve fall into sin, God begins to unveil his promise.
His plan, even there in the garden.
And eventually, we will see that is playing will will extend into the line of David and and through Jesus Christ, his promised Messiah.
Opportunity where in Chapter 17 and for the sake of time, that we are going to do a rapid overview of of This, Magnificent chapter.
We're going to look at what God is doing.
And I want to let you know when we approach 17.
We are already 25 years into this plan.
Did you know that from the very moment that God said Abram?
This is my plan on going to bless you.
I'm going to bless all people through you.
You are going to have abundance Offspring, all the stuff.
We got an initiate that that was 25 years ago.
Some sitting here can't even imagine 25 years.
