I. MAN BY NATURE IS IN DISGRACE.

1. His speech is a disgrace; Ps. 10:7.

2. His walk is a disgrace; Prov. 6:18.

3. His life is a disgrace; Col. 1:21.

II. MAN BECAUSE OF HIS NATURE NEEDS SALVATION.

1. He needs to be saved from his sin; Rom. 3:23.

2. He needs to be saved from the law’s curse; Gal. 3:10.

3. He needs to be saved from God’s wrath; Rom. 5:9.

III. MAN’S MEANS OF CHANGING FROM DISGRACE TO GRACE.

1. By the Word of God; 1 Peter 1:23.

2. By the Holy Spirit; 1 Cor. 6:11.

3. By coming to Jesus; John 6:37.

IV. MAN CAN BE SAVED BY GRACE.

1. Grace is sufficient; Acts 15:11.

2. Grace is the means of forgiveness; Eph. 1:7.

3. Grace is the means of justification; Titus 3:7.

V. MAN’S JOY CHANGING FROM DISGRACE TO GRACE.

1. He is a new man; Col. 3:10.

3. He has a new position; 2 Cor. 5:20.

VI. MAN NEEDS TO GROW IN GRACE.

1. Growth comes by the study of the Bible; 2 Tim. 2:15.

2. Growth comes by prayer; Luke 22:40.

3. Growth comes by separation; 1 Thess. 5:21–23.

VII. MAN IS KEPT BY GRACE.

1. His hands are kept by grace; Eph. 4:28.

2. His mouth is kept by grace; Ps. 40:3.

3. His walk is kept by grace; Eph. 6:15.
