Matthew 5:27–30 NKJV
27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Focus verse:

Matthew 5:28 NKJV
28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
OK, to be sure there is a difference between physical Adultery and what I will call spiritual adultery. ( I will tell you that if you commit enough spiritual adultery you will open yourself to physical adultery.) This is just one of the reasons that we fight so hard pornography.

1)The eye gate is the beginning of lust for most men.

Psalm 101:3 NKJV
3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.
Exodus 20:17 NKJV
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
1 John 2:16 NKJV
16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
one of the reasons that the Exodus verse tells us that not to lust anything that our neighbor has is because God is my provider.
Another reason that I don’t want to lust after anything my neighbor has is because ultimately, it will break fellowship.
who is my provider? God is! so when I lust after something that my neighbor has, what am I saying about God’s provision for me.

let’s take a look at all the things we are not supposed to lust:

never neighbor’s house.
neighbors wife.
servant either male or female (employees).
his ox (equipment).
his donkey (equipment).

2. The word tells us to get our own.

1 Corinthians 7:2–5 NKJV
2 Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. 5 Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
let each man have his own wife
let each woman have her own husband.
the husband should render the affection due his wife.
the wife to her husband.
we don’t have the right to our own bodies.

3. we need to be aware of ourselves for the sake of others.

1 Timothy 5:1–2 NKJV
1 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity.

… treat the younger woman as sisters.

one of the ways we need to do this is deal with the sexualization that we have been through.
we need to understand that sex was made for marriage.
it is a thing intended for husbands and wives. mot just two people with free time and desire.
men we have to renew our mind in the area of sex. Just because you like the way a sister looks doesn’t mean she wants you.
Jim sanders and the smiling girl.- just cause a woman is nice to me dose not mean that she wants me.
the friendship trap.
careful what you present.
