2 Timothy 1:3–7 NIV84
3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. 4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. 5 I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
We celebrate moms. The Bible tells us that woman came from man and man from woman. In other words, mother’s deliver generations. Every time a mom gives birth, she is giving birth to generations. What started as two turns out to be generations.

1. Your present faith establishes future generations

Timothy’s grandmother was the matriarch of his faith
Lois passed her faith to her daughter Eunice
Eunice passed her faith to her son, Timothy
Although, Timothy’s dad was greek, loyal faith always wins out
Our generations are a result of our faith
Moms, you are giving birth to other faithful or faithless children
Proverbs 22:6 NIV84
6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
Faith starts at home
It is not the schools responsibility; it starts at home
Restore my present faith

2. Restore the loyal faith generation

I believe that we are born champions
We are born resilient
The problem is that life teaches us how to quit and we are too eager to learn that lesson
Walking in the faith will be tough
Jesus prophesied and said that in this world we would have trouble
However, He also said that we needed to stay the course and we would overcome just like He overcomes
The workers had deserted Paul
2 Timothy 4:10 NIV84
10 for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
Therefore, he tells Timothy, I have been reminded of your sincere faith
We need loyal faith
Faith that doesn’t give up when things get tough
Moms need faith when they deliver their children
When the pain increases is because you are closer to delivering your child
You can’t quit just because it is hurts
Restore the Loyal Faith

3. Restore the use of laying on of hands

Instead of speaking death to generations; speak life
As you speak life; lay hands
Laying hands transfers gifts and anointing
Time to restore this powerful act at home
When your child is sick, lay hands and anoint them for healing
Timothy received his gift through the laying on of hands
We need the faith to lay hands on our generations
Change the future of your generations by laying hands and speaking life
2 Timothy 3:14–16 NIV84
14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
There are gifts that are waiting for you to lay hands
Restore the act of laying hands

4. Restore the use of the gifts of God

We need your gifts in the work of the Lord
Fan into flame your gifts
Start somewhere
Your involvement sets up the next generation
You are born for such a time as this
Restore the using of gifts for God first

5. Restore the courage of the believers

We need to teach our children to be courageous
God did not give us a spirit of timidity or fear
God gave us a spirit of power, love and self-discipline
We need to be courageous for Jesus
Becoming a mother is easy, staying a mother takes courage
The courage to stay a mother passes on to your children
Restore the generations of courage
Don’t let fear keep you back
Be courageous
