God forgive me for my sins that I have committed in my body and in my mind and against you oh God. Forgive me for all of my sins past, present and regrettable my sins in the future. God forgive me from all of my sin. Amen.

God bless me indeed, expand my boarders, enlarge my territory, keep your hand upon me, and keep me from all evil so that I will not cause nor experience anymore pain. Amen.

Psalm 24:3–4; 1 Timothy 2:8

The Shell of Worship

It is never the outward shell of our worship that matters to God. The thing that matters is what is in our hearts. So we must not get sidetracked with foolish arguments over whether organs or tambourines are more holy, whether God is more pleased with Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” or with an “Alleluia” chorus, or whether God cares if we are sitting on red or blue pew cushions to express our common thanks. God encounters what is in the depths of our heart when we come to worship.

The outwardness is but a shell.

NLT Psalm 24:3 Who may climb the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies.

NLT 1 Timothy 2:8 So wherever you assemble, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

God bless Rhema Community Church to be a place where true worship takes place. Amen.

2 Chronicles 31:20–21; Colossians 3:17

Life, Exactly as It Is

Worship is the wholehearted, Godward living of my life as it actually is. Worship is not a weekly escape from life, but a moment by moment embrace of life exactly as it is, knowing that in my life exactly as it is, I am moment by moment embraced in the arms of God.

NLT 2 Chronicles 31:20 In this way, King Hezekiah handled the distribution throughout all Judah, doing what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God. 21 In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow the law and the commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful.

NLT Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.

God I thank you for all that you have done and I praise and adore you for who you are. God you are my rock and my salvation. God you are my creator and my sustainer. God you are my present help. God you are my all and all. God you are so good. God you are so wonderful to me. God you are good to me. God I give your name all the praise. Amen. God you are almighty and powerful. Amen.

God forgive me for all my sin. God forgive me for the lust of my eyes, forgive me for the lust of my flesh, and forgive me oh God for the pride within my heart. God forgive me indeed. Amen. God forgive me for my transgressions and my iniquities. God forgive me for my sin of omission and commission. God forgive me and my entire family and, will, and are sinning against us. Amen. God forgive our enemies. Amen.

God thank you for today and your holy word Amen. God I thank you for relationship with you and with my family. God thank you for my wife and children. God thank you Rhema and ministry. God thank you for calling me and choosing me and anointing me and appointing me and for elevating me. God thank you for your help and your healing and your holiness. God thank you for another day. Amen.

God bless me indeed. Amen. God expand my boarders and enlarge my territory. God keep me on the straight and narrow path. God keep me and keep your hand upon me. God keep me from all evil so that I will not cause nor experience anymore pain. God forgive me Amen.
