Man was created in God’s Image

Mankind was created in God’s image in the beginning.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

What does it mean for man to be created in the image of God? Most of us have computer systems. Usually just one or two in a home. Large organization have hundreds and even thousands of computers. What they typically do is create one system that has all of the features and capabilities, make an image of it and apply it to all of the computers. A computer that has been imaged has the same look and feel as the computer that it got the image from. It operates in a like manner. The exterior could be different (size, color, etc) but the way that they work are the same. Adam and eve were like God in many ways.
Because of the fall man is now born into sin.
But God saw fit for redemption.
