What shall we drink? What shall we eat?

申命記Deuteronomy (ESV)
1:31 你們在曠野所行的路上，
也曾見耶和華─你們的神撫養你們，
如同人撫養兒子一般，直等你們來到這地方。』
and in the wilderness, where you have seen
how the LORD your God carried you,
as a man carries his son,
all the way that you went until you came to this place.'

16:4 耶和華對摩西說：「我要將糧食從天降給你們。
百姓可以出去，每天收每天的分，我好試驗他們遵不遵我的法度。
4 Then the LORD said to Moses,
"Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you,
and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day,
that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.
16:19 摩西對他們說：「所收的，不許甚麼人留到早晨。」
16:20 然而他們不聽摩西的話，內中有留到早晨的，
就生蟲變臭了；摩西便向他們發怒。
16:21 他們每日早晨，按著各人的飯量收取，日頭一發熱，就消化了。
19 And Moses said to them, "Let no one leave any of it
over till the morning."
20 But they did not listen to Moses. Some left part of it
till the morning, and it bred worms and stank.
And Moses was angry with them.
21 Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as
he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted.

16:5 到第六天，他們要把所收進來的預備好了，
比每天所收的多一倍。」
5 On the sixth day, when they prepare what they bring in,
it will be twice as much as they gather daily."
16:22 到第六天，他們收了雙倍的食物，每人兩俄梅珥。
會眾的官長來告訴摩西；
16:23 摩西對他們說：「耶和華這樣說：
『明天是聖安息日，是向耶和華守的聖安息日。
你們要烤的就烤了，要煮的就煮了，所剩下的都留到早晨。』」
16:24 他們就照摩西的吩咐留到早晨，也不臭，裡頭也沒有蟲子。
22 On the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread,
two omers each. And when all the leaders of
the congregation came and told Moses,
23 he said to them, "This is what the LORD has commanded:
'Tomorrow is a day of solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD;
bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil,
and all that is left over lay aside to be kept till the morning.'"
24 So they laid it aside till the morning, as Moses commanded
them, and it did not stink, and there were no worms in it.

16:16 耶和華所吩咐的是這樣：你們要按著各人的飯量，
為帳棚裡的人，按著人數收起來，各拿一俄梅珥。」
16:17 以色列人就這樣行；有多收的，有少收的。
16:18 及至用俄梅珥量一量，多收的也沒有餘，少收的也沒有缺；
各人按著自己的飯量收取。
16 This is what the LORD has commanded:
'Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat.
You shall each take an omer, according to the number
of the persons that each of you has in his tent.'"
17 And the people of Israel did so.
They gathered, some more, some less.
18 But when they measured it with an omer,
whoever gathered much had nothing left over,
and whoever gathered little had no lack.
Each of them gathered as much as he could eat.
哥林多後書2 Corinthians
8:13 我原不是要別人輕省，你們受累，
8:14 乃要均平，就是要你們的富餘，現在可以補他們的不足，
使他們的富餘，將來也可以補你們的不足，這就均平了。
8:15 如經上所記：多收的也沒有餘；少收的也沒有缺。
13 For I do not mean that others should be eased
and you burdened, but that as a matter of fairness
14 your abundance at the present time should supply their need,
so that their abundance may supply your need,
that there may be fairness.
15 As it is written, "Whoever gathered much had nothing left over,
and whoever gathered little had no lack."

8:3 他苦煉你，任你飢餓，
將你和你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，
使你知道，人活著不是單靠食物，
乃是靠耶和華口裡所出的一切話。
And he humbled you and let you hunger
and fed you with manna, which you did not know,
nor did your fathers know,
that he might make you know that
man does not live by bread alone,
but man lives by every word that comes
from the mouth of the LORD

人活著，不是單靠食物，

"'Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
