We are in a world of personal indulgence.
Society has brought on models in various forms that reinforce that fact.
In places like Springfield, family and familiarity is the norm.
But most people barely know their neighbors.
If there’s not a reason to have relationship with someone, then it’s not unheard of to consider those around us a distraction or an inconvenience.
But God is just the opposite.
He longs for relationship.
He wants you to make Him your very existance.
Genesis 3:8
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day…
 
Genesis 1:26-27
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Jesus’ birth brought about visitation by people who were strangers.
At the birth of Jesus public ministry, He called for 12 disciples to be with Him 24~/7.
Proverbs 18:24
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Jesus forgave and undid Peter’s denial on the shore after the great catch of fish to restore their relationship.

There are 24 thrones around God’s where 24 elders sit and worship, and there are also 4 creatures that are constantly in His presence.
Angels and even the devil comes into God’s presence (Job).
And Jesus sits at God’s right hand.
Jesus said the words “when you pray…when you fast”.
Psalms and Proverbs tell us time and again to study, to get wisdom, to obtain knowledge.
He longs for you to make your day revolve around his will.
Jesus said to take up your cross daily and follow him.
He’s only coming back for a people ready for his appearing, those with enough oil in their lamps to make it through the night.
Remember, not everyone will make it though you know, and do, and perform.
It’s an attitude of the heart…of the mind…of the soul.
Remember, it’s all relative in God’s eyes.
Everything ties in to everything else and prepares us for eternity.
