Community

Genesis 28:3  May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.

Community would best be defined as people with common interests living in a particular area broadly.

Distortion of community would be to begin to exclude those who do not fit a particular mold, which is at the discretion of the person….clique

Jesus’ focus on community was exclusive to food, clothing, shelter and healing.

Acts 1:8  You will be my witnesses……

People are dying and going to hell……

Too often we view church and our Christian family as and “event”.  An event is something that happens.

Matthew 28:18-20  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
